Do You Have a Black Friend?

I've never had a black friend :( or even had more than a 15 second conversation with one.

One day though. One day.

What. Do I have an obligation to have a friend of every single race? Am I racist if I don't have an Asian friend or something?

No. But to my defense, there are not many black people near me I could be friends with. I had one once, but that was years ago and he kinda went into drugs, dropped out of school and I never saw him again.

The video was pretty funny.
 
I don't have many friends right now period. Most of them I've grown apart from over the years and only see two more than once or twice a year.

But prior to that, yes, several.
 
If we mean people I talk with regularly (including old friends I don't get to see as much now), sure...several. As for people I actually hang out with and do stuff with, there was one guy, but he just recently moved. I only hang out with a small number (<5) of people on a regular basis.
 
Honestly, no.

I had a black friend in high school, which was awesome because there's about 3 black people in my entire city. We sat next to each other in history class and we shared a desk with a Japanese dude. It was one of my favorite classes in all of high school because we would just sit there and make racist jokes about each other, often quoting Dave Chappelle or Rush Hour.

In college I had a black roommate. That was a lot of fun. He was a rapper, a teller at Washington Mutual, and an overall great guy. I told him about how I always wanted to have sex with a black lady, so he would give me advice because black people flirt differently (much more aggressively) than white people.

I ended up falling out of contact with both of them though, aside from being Facebook friends. So now pretty much all of my friends are white.

Well I do like in the Caribbean so my friends mostly consist of Hispanics.
 
My best friend growing up was black, but then we had to move abroad. We actually had a movie cliché farewell where he came by to say goodbye as we left and I had to wave goodbye through the window as we drove away. I told him we would be back next easter, I thought we would be, but we never returned. Fuck, now I am sad, the image of him walking away with his head down afterwards :(
 
I guess this was all in fun, but I didn't see the purpose?

I've had friends from all over the place over the years, but my closest, true friends consists of two black guys and one white guy.

No the whole thing was a joke. I also have several black and Asian friends but majority are Hispanic and white.
 
My best friend is black but I don't like saying that. He's my life long friend and is like a brother to me, fuck a color.
 
I'm Black and a quarter Indian. Do I fill two slots for people or do I have to wait to be drafted.

When I was in law school I was in BLSA (black law students association). The only non-blacks were me and this white dude. It was one of the best friend experiences I've ever had.

East Asian friends: lots
South Asian friends: lots

Poor friend: Yes

White friends: a fair amount
 
Yeah, but they insist on acting white, so it's like any credibility I would get from having black friends goes right out the window.
 
Not since my best friend in 2nd grade moved back to Africa. I had a black roommate in college and a classmate in my jazz dance class that I got along with but that's been it.

In real life? Nope. Not since high school really. On the internet (as if those aren't real friends) absolutely.

Edit: wow, I just realized what a douche I am. I have a black ex who I would definitely still consider a friend, but we don't live near each other now and basically just talk online or text. Guess I didn't really think about that as like 'inner circle of friends'
 
I don't have any male friend, the closest i could call friends are my gym buddies, which are mostly blacks and south-eastern asians + chinese (i guess never asked where they from), with some caucasian Italian here and there. And usually, the non-caucasian guys speak Italian better than the Italian guys (only who's italian can understand this one :D ).

Hispanic is so vague, and Mexican is a very specific group of people that are stereotyped and sometimes targeted in the US so I called them out specifically. Feel free to add more categories!
 
White friends are a minority my friends are Arab Chinese and black lol as someone white I need MORE white friends
 
No. Not since high school. I'm not the type that makes friends very easily outside of a forced social setting like school.
