Does the size of your TV matter in online console FPS?

I use to have a 32" TV but one day I played Bad Company 2 on my friends 52" TV and I had a crazy good game. I really think it makes a difference, although dont pros play Halo on small TVs? I guess though stuff in halo stands out.

I think screen resolution is more important than size. I played Halo 3 on my old 32 inch SDTV before getting an HDTV and I was horrible. Playing Reach on my 40 inch LCD I am actually pretty damn good. I'm not a pro by any stretch, though. I do sit about three to four feet away from my TV while playing games, so I don't know if that makes a difference. I will say my dad has a 60 inch Panasonic plasma that seems huge. I haven't played any MP games on it, but I imagine a really big screen might make you have to look around more.

I play Halo on an Acer 22 inch montior through VGA. I really dislike playing on anything else. I don't play at the screen max resolution of 1680x1050 because of my JTV stream set up. The MLG players play on similar setups but in 1680x1050.

Sit as close as possible, it improves your reactions.

Ever find that when you are concentrating on a game you start leaning forward? That's natural baby, don't fight it.

Yea, I hate having friends over when I'm playing seriously in fps. I'm like bent over staring at the screen like I'm performing brain surgery.
