Serious answer: He argues that Mexico is deliberately sending rapists and murderers across our border, and so they must compensate us by paying for the wall. Or else.

I guess if Trump were to win with a Republican Congress they could pass a wall bill that taxes Mexico in some way and then sell that as Mexico having paid for it. Even though the public assumes Trump means the Mexican government hands him a check.

If by hilarious you mean fucling terrifying for the tens of millions of Muslim and Mexican Americans, and other minorities with the potential or history of persecution. I'm Jewish. My parents and grandparents remember when jews were banned from owning property in certain communities locally, when Jewish doctors had no admitting privileges. It wasn't that long ago. Closer to my birth than 9/11 is to the present in a few cases.
