You can get it for 2-3 keys from www.reddit.com/r/dota2trade or www.tf2outpost.com. Much cheaper than buying the bundle.
Typical build is Phase Boots -> Drums -> Some caster items like Force Staff or Scythe.Anyway, Treads or Phase Boots for him?
So I'm new-ish to the game. Probably played around 30 matches overall and just recently got back into it. Now I'm quite addicted. I'd like to try more characters but there are so many that I'm not sure what direction to head in. I'm the best with Bane, with a ratio of 9:3 in my last game. After that I'm pretty decent with Rubick. Based on this, anyone know what other heroes might be worth trying for me? Thanks!
Good, that's what I usually do. All of those items are on the recommended list except for Force Staff so I didn't want to get called out by someone who actually knows what they're doing for buying them.Typical build is Phase Boots -> Drums -> Some caster items like Force Staff or Scythe.
I haven't won a game since last week... I think i'm in shit tier now. Also, regarding Loki/Thor, I hate to say this but loki's clearly the better player right now (and his stats show it). He plays way more games and generally has more tryhard friends that he rolls with regularly. Thor is like archie in that he wants to play X hero Y games in a row, or play a hero he gets an item drop for in the last game. He's also slightly more chill with losing I think.

I don't know if this is a sound idea for someone completely new, but what happened to me was my friend forced me to play random, and not care how much I died. This forced me to learn heroes first-hand and eventually I learned who did what and how.
It probably took longer than it should have, but paying attention to what enemy heroes helps too

There is a copy to clipboard button in the spectate menu when you're watching a replay.
They're nuts.I was cringing listening to the PC Gamer podcast today.
They said DoTA 2 would never be as popular as TF2.
Isn't DoTA 2 in the beta alone almost over taking it. Then they said it would be great if Valve could get into the e-sports scene but it would be to hard. ARG!!!
Hmm closed beta and right now at this particular time it has 3000 more concurrent players. Only a few thousand player difference in peak. They're pretty crazy/stupid.I was cringing listening to the PC Gamer podcast today.

I am dying to get into this..
does anyone know of a place where I could possibly trade like a Dirt 3 steam key for a Dota2 key?

You gotta do better than a Dirt 3 steam key (which is pretty much worthless) man....You can buy into the beta via the dota 2 store for $40...which includes virtual items.
Imagine you registered for the beta already, right?
Took me about a week to get approved
Speaking of which, I have no idea what I'm doing. Would anyone be interested in walking me through a game? I have the gist of what the objective is from playing MNC, but as it pertains to this game, I really don't know.

I still don't understand this. I filled out the questionnaire three weeks ago and Valve sent me an e-mail last weekend telling me that they had added a Dota 2 invite to my account. It's hard to fathom people paying $5-$10 (or $40) for a game that Valve will "deliver" to you free in a couple of weeks.Invites are worth like $5-$10.

Just...wow...Not sure how many keys it was. I think it was 10 keys for $3000

Ah didn't realize the wait period was arbitrary. I just assumed they were giving them out more rapidly now that the game is getting closer to gold status.Because some people are still waiting for invites, and even then, why wait weeks when you can pay $10 and get in right now.

I was lucky, I think it was like a week after they announced beta nda was dropped that my friend dues got an invite, he shared one of them with me.
That was back in september I think.
Tomat tier : 10 games of dota or less.
