It does not require another essence, it just needs an egg. I can also be placed on a full egg since unusual essences don't take up a slot. You are limited to 3 unusuals per egg.

I feel like Valve needs to add a shorter game length mode to matchmaking. The game length is a bit offputting to new players.

yea mang. I still enjoyed it, but WR had around 100cs in 18 minutes or so. They lane against her was very ineffective. and indeed some of those shackleshots were ballin.

Its up there but I don't think it will be in for launch.

Since a majority of heroes have been implemented and the game's core is there I'm guessing a lot of valve staff switched over to other projects (RICOCHET 2). I wouldn't be surprised if the project had half the staff that it had pre TI1.

Beyond making heroes they still need a competent tutorial system and all the dota 1 game modes in before they release a toolkit.

Because of drivers being more up to date and better optimized, I almost always use Windows for gaming anyway. Games invariably run at a higher frame rate and utilize more features in Windows... For me at least
 
Random-ass Weaver buff idea: Attach a single swarm beetle to every Geminate attack proc (duration/damage limited to swarm level).

Would be good if it lasted 1 second longer than geminate cd of the rank (armor debuff lasts longer), and if they didn't get gold for killing it.

I'd like to see;

Huskar: Burning spears no longer an orb effect

Kunkka: Toggle on tidebringer to make it do more single target or the aoe cleave as is, both share the same cooldown. (Gives more 1 v 1 applications or makes it better for lane equilibrium.) Also remove mana costs from the second click on x marks the spot and reduce mana cost on boat.

Meepo: Make poof castable through stuns (you cast poof before the stun, it goes through, can't cast during), but not hexes/poly.

Some of my favorite heroes and they aren't played competitively (kunkka was played for a bit but nothing seriously), I hope icefrog takes a look at them eventually.

I'd be down with that, would make him a good deal more effective in the early game securing kills.
 
My friend and I just finished a Diretide match where the both of us got essences in the second portion. But when we went into our backpacks, we had just gotten double the item from the first portion of the match(the essence turned into a double drop). That means that essences are probably not dropping anymore and the event is about to end. Cool little glitch though, gave me two uncommon items where I should have only gotten the one.
 
I have 3 ghastly treasures and giving them away for free. Anyone want them? I am currently in the NeoGaf Channel, so just ask.

That happened to me on Saturday. Doesn't mean anything.
 
Yeah, I had that item dupe glitch happen to me way back in the beginning of Diretide's run. Got to Skeleton King swords out of the deal, so not complaining!
