7.99? That seems pretty steep in comparison to every tourney played so far. It's an online tourney, right? How long is it gonna go for?

indeed. most are $0.99-$2.99.

the listing in the store keeps appearing and disappearing.

Its only me or Tobi is more.. quiet today? The casting has been more enjoyable.

hopefully someone got into his ass about the sexism yesterday. getting reamed for behavior has a way of tranquilizing people in the short term.

£4.99 seems a little steep, it is online + offline finals. But being able to spectate the Chinese teams in-game might be worth it.

Is there a reference site you guys use to approximate the value of items?

My tf2 inventory is actually full right now and I'm wondering how many pieces of scrap metal I could trade for a dota 2 key.

"Invite your friends
You have extra copies of Dota 2 to give away"

So I got this in the email but i don't see any invites in my inventory? Anyone else get an email like this, how do you send invites to people?

Yeah, I have like 50 Refined Metal I wouldn't mind laying down for Dota Tickets.

Restart steam and see if they show up in your inventory.

I'd convert those metal into tf2 keys and then those keys into dota 2 keys which can easily be traded for invites.

So hey, I found a Nightmare Blade for Axe, and I'm not into it. Anybody wanna trade me for it?

Sorry about the trade spam. Only posting cause I was about to delete it, like I do all the other items I don't like, but I noticed it's $6 in the store.

I think navi hasn't lost with the Chen+Pudge combo tho.

Was a nice tournament, but it needs polishing, would be cool to see what they have in store for the last Starladder of the year.

Also i liked Tobi casting more today, and Kuro was a nice co-commentator (was funny and cool to see him take the spot of Tobi and talk, talk and talk)

I'm almost sure he was teamed with Puppey's Chen on that game la_briola is talking about, where fountain hooks were the only things that gave them kills at the end.

Also, DotaCinema Top 10 #33 is up - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNJRjF3u9-I

In 6.76... Is that a buff or a nerf for Witch Doctor's Agahnim's death ward? I can't remember if the triple split attacks also bounced...

Having it bounce 5 times seems better, but it's maybe less immediate damage depending on how they're positioned around your ward?

They don't bounce, I'm pretty sure. It just split the ward into three. Should be good when used with chrono or blackhole. He needs farm to get that aghanims at a decent time though.

I don't think WD is that bad off, he just needs more hp per level.

Because Magic is a decade old game with a competitive scene almost just as old.

Why is this better produced than anything other than the international?

Because WotC spends decent money for production since it's just a marketing tool for them (just like the international) and because it would be fucking boring otherwise, unlike many competitive games that retain most of the entertainment value even if the event itself is worse produced?

They've been doing this for years and have a ton of money to put into it. I wouldn't say it's better produced than everything else bar the international. There's been pretty decent levels of production in competitive gaming tournaments for a long time now, even going back to 2003/04.
