Wow I love how sharp this GIF is. When we win dota games I imagine this is how Shinkai is dancing.

There's numerous ways to play DK, these are the ways I've had success with him.
You can play him mid or in a lane with a baby sitter. If mid, you get bottle and bottle crow/harass other mid out of lane with your dragon breath. If you go sidelane you can go for soul ring instead. DK isn't an excellent suicide laner with a babysitter but he is still pretty durable in lane.
Skillbuild:
Spend your first point on stun, then max nuke and regen, putting more points into regen if you're getting harassed out of lane, or more points into nuke first if you're not. You can max stun after you max the other two but I prefer to just dump all my points into stats.
Your first dragon form has a dot that affects towers, making it great for pushing. Dragon form 2 kind of sucks unless you're ancient stacking, so some people hold off on leveling it up until all tier 1 are down or tier 2.
Items
Dragon Knight has a lot of great items on him. These are my personal favorites;
Early game:
Treads, Helm of the Dominator, Armlet, Maelstrom, Soul Ring, Drums, Urn, BKB, Midas (If in a good lane, before 6 mins)
Late Game:
Daedalus, AC, Satanic, Possibly Mjol (after some experimenting I feel as if most of the value of mjol is from maelstrom, and that its better just to get ac + mael instead of mjol)
Stacking ancients:
Use a creep dominated with your HoTD to stack ancients. Stack them as high as you can, then once you have your second rank ult, clear the stack. Try to dominate an alpha wolf if you can for the damage aura.
Alternative strats:
A lot of eastern teams have built an early pipe on him, or vanguard. I don't really recommend this for pubs.

Unfortunately for Undying, he is king early and mid game but a simple peasant late game. Late game is when you go full support and constantly heal your teammates in teamfights, stuff like that. Your ult is a good aura to have in teamfights so staying alive should be your number 1 priority(aside from healing the dying carries using the millions of creeps nearby) late game during team fights, building a blade mail, shivas or a scythe of vyse is good, but nothing can stand against you early game so enjoy it while it lasts.

Man, Luna.
She's such an ass-stomper. 600 gpm without stacked ancients (because mates keep stealing them saying, "I couldn't resist...so big...")? No problem. Dom Helm, treads, RoA and bkb in 18 minutes? no problem. Manta or Shadowblade by 25 minutes? No problem. Satanic and Bfly by 35 minutes? No problem. Always the same with her.
I've only played her 15 times or so and only lost twice...both times close matches, but not quite enough help. I know she's not a broken hero (she's not picked enough at higher levels of play to be), but damn she's never out of a match, is she? I'm pretty sure Luna can start 0/7 and make up a ton of that in 10 minutes.
Anyway, is there a bigger ricer than her? Maybe an unreleased hero? (I didn't play Dota 1)

Trust me, it's as hilarious as it sounds. When Charge of Darkness, Greater Bash, AND the Shadow Blade backstab proc it's pretty glorious. It's also funny when you're charging through a creep wave and heroes while invisible and the enemy is just like "aghhh wtf."
Spirit Breaker might be one of the most fun heroes to play now.

Haha yeah, probably one of the reasons Undying is a pretty tough pick a lot of the times. I got counterpicked by an Axe last night and I think my zombies paid for his grandkid's college tuition.
She carried my team in the last match I played.

I played her once and really liked her, but I am too terrified to ever get good with carries. But if I ever did man up, I would practice with her. The bouncing blades do a ton of damage too if you are trying to bust down their T3 and racks.

Yeah Luna is only as good as her team. In the beginning/mid she is an easy as fuck gank.

Wow, I'm so mad right now. Fuck these players who think Stats=Skill, especially on Support Heroes like Leshrac. Just got 3-10-10 in a game, pushed 5 towers pretty much solo and got flamed by a 6-6 weaver with only linkens@40mins who REALLY thought he played better than me because his stats were better.
Oh, and of course I had to initiate fights and was the only one deffing towers. Also enemy AM got BF@16 mins on Weaver/Shacker Lane, fuck this shit!

I don't even know! I just hate it that when you KNOW you play really good and your team just fucks everything up and then YOU get flamed by the WORST player of the team with stupid comments like that.... still mad!
