Are team comps without a clear carry that common? Seems like a gamble that you're going to win before the opposing team's carry starts getting out of control.

I do get that a strong teamfight lineup can neutralize the power of a carry, but it seems odd not to have a carry to fall back on in case things don't swing your way.
