never listened to a wagamama cast/co-cast (at least one I can recall). I do regularly watch his stream though and wouldnt mind him at all I think.

Even in the ladies match today he critiqued the Enigma player for getting a bkb before blink because beastmaster was on the other team. Failing to notice that guest about every other hero on the opposing team had a spell which would break a black hole yet could be nullified by a bkb. I mean I'm still relatively new to the game but so I might be wrong, but when a team's running a support like Jakiro who can stun frequently at long range I'm thinking the bkb is worth it even with the aside that you need to land it on the beast master or have him taken care of first.

I really don't even want to watch the stream, all of these things considered. I'm not into sexism in fucking 2012.

Is he the only english-speaking caster at the event?

Wagamama has not said a single sexist thing and he is from sweden. So. YOu can watch it now.

I found it also incredibly off putting to hear that talk at all. Really discouraging that people still think it is cool to be that way.
 
Jakiro is just ridiculous.

9s cd - 2.2 s stun = 6.8 seconds of delay between getting disabled again. Oh, and he makes the fight uninhabitable for all the enemy supports cause of his ult.

Since Jakiro is my most played hero I approve

We had a shit game, I got too focused on getting kills after we lost mid horribly and forgot to support. I got annoyed and abandoned so I could walk away from the keyboard before I got even more pissed off. I've since apologised to Ikuu for biting his head off.

yea, he was good BEFORE the buffs. now he's damn near broken. highest win % in the game for a reason.
 
No, before the buff he had one of the worst stun in the game which also resulted in his ultimate being useful only in certain lineups or weird chokepoints.

There was no reason whatsoever to pick him when other supports could do most of what he did better.
 
Low Tier Dota question:

Is Razor something of a strong counter to Undying? I had that matchup yesterday as Razor and rendered Tombstone (Undying's bread n' butter) completely irrelevant in every team fight with Razor's ult, which killed every tombstone spawn with great efficiency. Meanwhile, the damage steal and nuke put in work.
 
Lich is the classic, highly spammable because of Sacrifice and good nukes for fights. He's the best support to start with, in my opinion.

Huskar is man up tier.

If you've played League I recommend any of the heroes but the following; meepo, invoker, lone druid, chen, enchantress, kunkka, visage. You should be able to do reasonably well with any of them but those just by reading a guide.


Man just got done experimenting with early hood on huskar. Thing is beast against casters. Can easily tank their damage while gaining health back, ontop of that its easy to upgrade in a pipe, making it great for team fights.

Edit: Phrased horribly as milk just pointed out.

Lich, Witch Doc, don't like crystal maiden too squishy for new folks, Lina, Lion and maybe warlock even.

Once you've graduated out of support class try some strength heroes before going to agility who tend to be primarily carries. Oh don't ever play Skeleton King either. I know people recommend him for new folks but you'd have more fun huffing paint.

If I were to recommend a hero, I'd probably recommend someone like Zeus. He was my first, is very easy to use, and has a great ult. He doesn't have any moves that you really have to line up or an ult that can easily wiff (like Lich or CM), and his chain lightning is extremely spammable which makes him very noob friendly. Obviously he'll have to learn over time to not kill steal (when to and when not to ult)...and he won't be able to last hit for shit...but for a beginner I found it very easy to stay alive and learn the mechanics of the game as Zeus.

The one game, the one game, where you random lycan, pick first, say you going to go woods, and then THE FUCKING NATURES PROPHET is like NOPE, I GO WOODS!
And I say, I have already bought my items for woods and mid is actually free, so he can go there.

NOPE IMMA WARD YOUR JUNGLE HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT LYCAN!

And he continues to wards my jungle for 20 FUCKING MINUTES and EVEN THE ENEMY JUNGLE and constantly told them my position.

AND THEN HE EVEN BLOCKS ME WITH HIS TREES WHEN I'M CHASING.

Fucking hell, I reported of course but another teammate was his friend and I dunno about enemy team...

1500h played and this guy still rages like a fucking 6 year old. Also almost all his games are Pudge games...
