DIRETIDE FIXES

- Fixed Death Prophet Announcer.
- Sugar Rushed Roshan now casts his abilities using pure glucose rather than mana.
- Diretide Roshan is now invulnerable prior to Sugar Rush.
- Fixed the incorrect hero picker being shown when spectating Diretide games.
- Added support for multiple rounds of Sugar Rush record tracking.
- Glyph now works on the bucket.
- Illusions now die if they attack the bucket.
- Meepo dying will no longer remove candy from everyone.
- Illusions no longer get bonus gold/xp from depositing candy in your bucket.

Yea, they fixed most of the issues.

Got a rare omniknight axe. It looks good, ill have to play him one day.

The fixes are nice, but some things dont change. PL will still get diffisual/heart in 8 minutes and kill the entire enemy team.

And i swear they have increased the rate you get things after deleting an item. Before today i deleted every item i ever got and only got 1 back. Today 3.

i cant say for sure, all i can say is i added both a blue and a red and they both took their own slot in the middle. im guessing they stack by color.

So I wonder if they're gonna reset the leaderboard, since 0.09 seconds is impossible now. They really should since that time was achieved via glitch/exploit anyway.

I cant believe im missing out on all this shit.

Fucking Sandy too stronk. I feel like pre 6.75 drow getting gangbanged in the safe lane, brazzers style.

If you don't know how to play. Ask. Also candy lowers your health Remb that

Holy shit, what's wrong with people?

I was playing with some friends and we started off saying we're new. Got an entire round of being yelled at for not reading what the mode was about, not watching videos explaining the mode and apparently for being terrible people for trying to have fun instead of winning.

Like... seriously. Congratulations that some players are able to hope into the game and learn it before others but why do they think that gives them free licence to basically shit on new players.

Course, got the hilarious response "This is fucking dota. You can't just jump in not knowing what you're doing." And then was told to go back to League even though none of us are from it.

Yesterday while I was playing for the first time a guy in the enemy team basically explained in all chat what we were supposed to do after I typed "I have no idea what is going on". He even told us useful stuff like if Rosh is after you, you could go in the jungle and get candy from neutrals, or to carry few pieces of candy because they lowered your health, etc. I've never seen a guy so friendly in Dota before.

Maybe now that everyone has a strat they are back to being dicks about it.

Reminds me once that I was playing Venom (I had around 40 wins or so), I got called out for playing in a specific way, and got told that this isn't HoN.

I didn't even know what HoN was at the time. Hell, I still don't know what I did HoN-like.

The one thing that is interesting about the new mode is that even though it's horrifically unbalanced, there are still a decent amount of strategies and ways you can go about it, that seem to have similar levels of success.

Blink heroes, move speed buffs/bonuses, and Force Staff, for example, are all very strong.

i never said don't have fun. i never fault anyone for trying or having fun. but if your just gonna start pushing top or something or don't know how to play, all i am saying is ask. i am not saying you need to have a team meeting just realize whats going on.

So I just realized i have access to this game and i have no idea when it happened. Where do i go to learn how to play without pissing everyone off to bad.

It's funny because everyone still doesn't know completely what they're doing on a mode that just released one day ago. Meepo and Phantom Lancer got nerfed so people have to come up with new ideas. The item builds are very unlike what you're normally used to in the game too. Most early game stuff is pretty much skippable.

Using blink heroes to steal candy is still too easy. I picked disruptor and we still needed 2-3 heroes to chase antimager, not always successfully. Then Void used ult to kill me all the time. In the end we ended winning in kills, but losing in candy.

Had a dude flaming a friend for being a noob yesterday during his first diretide game.

Everyone gave him hell and reported him.

Diretide is so frustrating, but it works out in the end.

Got an unusual essence and a regular essence back to back :d

FINISHED!

10 seconds to go: they have 68, we have 66. Im juggernaut, ult and kill their 2 defenders. Start attacking the pumpkin. We win 66-65.

Come to GAF channel in the game client, and ask ppl if they're willing to show you the ropes in an AI game or something. Or team up with ppl with low numbers of wins and ask for tips.

the last part with roshan makes no sense to me

yay im finally unbanned for saying american girls have no class for wearing leggings (??)

So I got "Unusual Morok's Mechanical Mediary" which has a particle effect of wisps and webs, and makes spiders crawl out of the ground when it's idle. Wonder how much money I can get for it.
