Think tomorrow, Valve usually doesn't (or doesn't want their staff to at least) work on weekends. So update tomorrow would make sense.

But then again I've seen Valve update on weekends sometimes because some employees just come to the office in the weekend anyway.

God, I had the most stereotypical fully Russian team just now on US servers.

300 ping, constantly pinging and typing to each other in Russian caps and when they speak english it's usually "neb you a bitch fuck you".

Not saying there should be a region lock, but they should not allow people to swap servers unless they are in a party with a person from that server or something.

So many BRs and RU assholes on lately.

I honestly wouldn't mind if most of them didn't seem to fall into the BR stereotype. It really is a shame when someone is speaking Portugese and 75% of the time they end up being assholes who just shout over voice, spam pings, or spam chat. That being said, it's always super satisfying to get a group who you can't really communicate with outside of a few words and pings, and then manage to stomp the other team.

There are south american servers, and 9/10 is mostly Brazilians. I rarely get to play with people that talk Spanish than Portuguese.

I had been called Spic a few times. It is pretty creepy when some people start checking your steam profile to call you out because of a disagreement.

Like 5-6 times, so it has been pretty lightly. I can't imagine being russian in this game.

Yeah I use it mostly for muscle memory and improving apm.

I've been playing it and not normal mode for the next 2 weeks, think I'll feel out of place once I finally go back. Starting with random gold is so nice.

I've played around 120 diretide games, never seen a shadow essence. Seen plenty of couriers though. I had to trade 7 keys for this shadow essence

Played 132 games of diretide. Rarest item I got was an unusual essence. My friend got 4 mythical couriers in like 40 games. Got nothing from the 8 chests I opened either. The regret levels are so high.
