It is good, I used to play SK a lot when I started dota and the invisibility + attack speed are perfect for him, you sneak up on someone and surprise them with a crit then stun then kill.

Shift-click the item in the shop. Its components get put into the quick-buy bar. Best feature ever
He's talking about literally saving them. You can save builds for different heroes. Just click on the list button on recommended build, and choose one to fire up and it replaces whatever you had before it.

You can make your own custom build, you can use it instead of the suggested in there. For quick buying and stuff.
There's also an edit button (looks like a pen) in the top left corner that you can click if you want to drag in other items to add to a build or delete items that you don't want.

Speaking of Gullin, I don't understand him. Is he secretly trolling everyone? Watched him play NS and was like 1-2-5 and said he carried his team so bad. Lost mid to an awful SF and said he wrecked him. And before that he kept going on and on about being in High Tier matches. Was unbearable to watch.

So...yeah...you can't switch in SD apparently. We learned this after making our selections, thinking that we could. So we switched unit control. I chose Invoker and tried to play Alch, and visa versa. Except...we retained item control, so we had to buy items for each other. Funniest, worst game ever, like running a three legged race. Probably an excellent team-building excercise though

Sounds like a cool idea for a gaf inhouse. Someone else completely controls what items you can get. Now hyuna can't be mad at me when I don't get blink on batrider.
He gets hooked to make the game more fun.
b/c u net more gold farming heroes then creeps, and allies also get bonus gold for hero kills. It's like getting battlefury on a ganker like NS so you can farm hard.
Because Bounty Hunter should be farming heroes with absurd track gold, not farming creeps. If you like ricing until the end days, there are muuuuch better heroes suited for that position.
Also, I finally, finally caught up and finished up Breaking Bad. It was the most amazing thing I've ever watched. So now I've finished Lost and Breaking Bad and need a new show to blow through while I work. I've heard The Wire, Mad Men, and Game of Thrones are all good. Not sure what I want to watch just yet though.

The Sheild is one of mt favourite shows all time and I'm enjoying Sons of Anarchy now
The Wire and Game of Thrones are way too involved to watch while doing something else.
My recommendation would be something like Battlestar Galactica or Supernatural.

I've watched/read all of GoT, and I'm watching the wire season 2 right now.
I enjoy GoT more than the wire so far, but that's because I couldn't understand most of the lingo they used in the wire (project/cop talk). You should check out walking dead if you enjoy zombies as well, but it starts way slower than the other two (season 3 is by far the best so far).
If by starting out slow you mean is complete shit for two seasons than yeah TWD is a slow burner.
Also no Band of Brothers or Rome recommendations?

Can't speak to GoT, but The Wire needs your full attention. Don't treat it like a baseball game and half watch it while cleaning the house and expect to follow it even remotely.

I feel like season one surpasses the expectations someone would have of a zombie tv show, but still doesn't hit a high note. Beginning of season 2 is complete garbage, halfway through season 2 it gets better, season 3 has been pretty rewarding. Its an entertaining show but its not a masterpiece.
The last tv series I sat down and watched before GoT was Arrested Development and that stopped airing a long time ago

The Wire is one of my favourite shows of all time, Breaking Bad is very close but won't truly judge until its all done and dusted.
So watch The Wire, also it has this actor who looks just like Swag if he was old in it for reals.
Watch Suits at work and The Wire at home, amazing new show too

The Wire is amazing. AMAZING. Mad Men is ok. I haven't watched Game of Thrones. If you like stuff like Lost you can try Fringe. It's from the same producer and similar in some aspects.

Yeah Sven was an outside carry pick before (although with a terrble win rate) a slight buff would have helped but they buffed everything alot.
I think I'm pretty much settled between The Wire and Game of Thrones, leaning more towards The Wire. I'll have to watch a few episodes to see how well I can pay attention though. I can't help but want to watch that show whenever I see the clip of Omar testifying against Bird, and I haven't really seen anything for Game of Thrones that made me go WOW, I want to watch that!
Lost was entertaining enough for the first 2 or 3 seasons, and then it starts tumbling downhill fast. I'm not really into sci-fi at all so stuff like Battlestar Galactica or Firefly are completely out of the picture. Don't care too much for comedies, although I found Workaholics hilarious (it's like our go-to show during family holiday hangouts).
Honestly? To me this reads as extremely salty over their loss to EG at Dreamhack. I completely disagree that Sven is over-buffed. Maybe they can tone down the cleave AOE back to it's original state, but otherwise, I feel that the competitive scene has demonstrated that he is completely and easily counterable with heroes like Faceless Void, Beastmaster, and Shadow Demon. Magnus on the other hand, I feel like he's one of the most powerful heroes in the pool right now and could use a bit of work. He brings too much to the table and has very little downsides.

Magnus now has a nuke with incredible range and a stupid good escape, making him one of the best Offlaners. Combined with an Ult that basically 'Black-Hole but better' it's not hard to see why he's considered so good.

Has Sven/Magnus been THAT bad? It's been awhile since I've tuned into tournaments. If he is that bad, wouldn't he always be first ban?
Also, Puppey stated that Silencer is also ridiculous now. I know he's pretty annoying now but to the point of being on ridiculous drow/cent etc. level?

The first time you see Sven cleave down an entire team with one crit is really fucking cool. The next 170 times are a little "..."
That game as of Pulse vs. whoever, one of the games they let Sven free farm, and their attempts to gank him later on were very poor. I'm not sure how it is with other teams but it just seems like you just need to make sure sven is neutered. Magnus on the other hand, you can't stop him from reaching level 6, he'll ult then skewer instantly then his super powered up team with cleave and bonus damage come in and destroy.
Puppey did seem to come off as a bit too angry with him bringing up the heros not in captains mode, I personally think Silencer is far from broken and drow has the same issue as Sven, dont leave her alone in the jungle so she can get her Daedalus. Centaur though needs a nerf, pressing R so your team on the other side of the map can escape easily or win a teamfight needs a change.

He was high in the Bans at DH but more focus was put on snowball gank hereoes like TA and Batrider big teamfigthers like Mag and Undying and annoying shit like Wisp and Darkseer(both of those can be put into ganking and teamfight respectively too i suppose).
Like Artanisix said the same counters for Sven still work for the most part so I guess teams still feel like they can deal with him.

it's good to see they were talking shit about these buffs on the last updates. moreso on silencer, drow ranger and centaur. i like how people in this thread were like "bububu drow is totally balanced! just gank/forcus her". reminds me of the people on playdota or whatever always talking about how the answers to lycan pre international 2 were always "ward his jungle" or doombringer
also the problem with magnus isn't even his nukes. nyx has about the same damage in nukes and they're all relativaly spammable, just to cite one hero. the problem is that his ult can turn teamfights too easily and has a really low cd. his other skills are good but not broken. skewer should be nerfed to push for a shorter distance though
as for fixing sven, they could make it so that his cleaving damage doesn't crit, or isn't affected by his ult, or both and more. warcry's cd could be increased. it's not that bad compared to the rest.

Drow, Centaur, and Silencer are balanced as far as I'm concerned. I have yet to see anything in GEST IDC tournaments showing otherwise. Care to explain how these heroes are ruining Dota? Because I'm not seeing it, and God forbid we have new carries that are actually relevant. Puppey didn't even bother saying what exactly was overpowered or broken about those three heroes aside from the blanket statement that "these heroes are stupid", so I'm not sure where you're even coming from, unless you just believe everything that comes out of Puppey's mouth and require zero explanation.
And TA is fine, we've seen a bunch of counters to her arise in the past few weeks. She's a great hero, and that's that.

I'm fairly sure he went over Drow and Centuar when the patch first hit, maybe silencer aswell.
