I'm in the UK and considering dropping the Euro server, it's a nightmare. Getting shouted at and don't understand a word.

The East Euro server did nothing as the player count rose.i hope they add a language filter.


Yeah, I don't think its unreasonable to want to play on English speaking servers right? Its not at all helpful when you can't communicate with your team mates.
 
The public MM to privet/bot matches is surprising tbh, and I didn't expect the US to have this low of a share compared to EU/Russia, but I guess it makes sense.
 
The only announcer pack I would pay for would be the main fake British accent female announce. I want a announcer pack where she says all of the kill streak lines.

GOOD QUESTION. They pushed really hard early and we had like no towers after 20 minutes somehow. We were crushing them in team fights, but we never managed to capitalize on it because we were so pushed back. We made some good pushes, but somehow it always seemed to be countered no matter what we did. At the end it was an ancient rush, but their Gyro shadowbladed behind our defending SD to win the game as we were trying to make a final push. Embarassing game really, but I had fun playing Timbersaw and want to try him out again.
 
I'm surprised SD is the more popular game mode, when I have it set to AP/SD/RD, I get RD far more often then SD. Maybe RD is more popular in NA.
 
Played Timbersaw twice yesterday. Not really a big fan since once you're in open space, you're pretty much fucked. In the trees though, no one dares mess with you.

Like Puck, you gotta get in there, spam spells, and hope your teammates are competent. Once you get bloodstone though you are a tanking machine. Literally.

I've been playing mainly on USE now, seems like you get a lot less non-english speaking people over there...
 
I wonder if they'll tweak how the Boat works. I'd like to see it maybe cause a slow as well, or swap the damage reduction on allies to damage amplification on enemies.

I've wanted an aghs for his boat for awhile that does something similar to that. Damage amp + a lethal dot would be pretty awesome.

One of the changes I'd like to see is the ability to turn tidebringer off. My reasoning is that during laning phase kunkka often pushes the lane and becomes an easy target to gank for coordinated teams because he has no escape moves.

The other change tidebringer should not crit. Tidebringer should deal auto attack damage + scale to some degree with strength (.5/1/1.5/2x strength in damage?). Right now kunkka is arguably the most rng dependant hero in order to succeed in his role, even moreso than ogre magi and ck he needs those big crits in order to contribute to fights. When he actually gets those big crits it is borderline overpowered. 500-700 pure damage that hits the other team is game winning. I want to smooth that out and make him more predictable, in addition to opening up other items that would help him not be so papery (heart of tarrasque, armlet, drums).
 
I wish all the characters had voice work and script as good as Timber. Especially all the ones that are just a mass of lame puns.
 
Had a 62 minute game last night as Jakiro which is a hero that I find to be my best, plus I like playing support.

It was an intense game and we could have lost because timbersaw was not helping out at all. He requires fast reaction, thinking and getting the right positioning. If the guy playing him isn't that kind of player then you might as well have 4 on your team.

Ended up with a few less kills then Timber but I had 38 assist and better items and 1 level higher. Remind me a lot of Slark.

On a side note. I am always surprise to see that when we won, our items were team based such as scythe, mek, drums and the other team didn't have any.

He's not tough to play but I'm sure some people are doing dumb crap like playing mid or they're not good with knowing when to land tree hook.

I think he's pretty strong if you lane him with a stunner or another burst damage hero. I'd say lane him against enemy carry, its pure damage so even heroes like am can take a shit loat of damage.
 
Both games I played with him I didn't feed, but I won one and lost one. I love zipping around on trees, but I gotta find a better build. I'm thinking of getting Soul Ring with him due to his high heath regen. Does this seem like a good idea?
 
I think I just need to change the way I use it....It's tough to throw it as a pick off tool but easy to hit as additional damage after a stun. So more assisting and less kill sniping...

I was talking about during the laning phase when instead of leaving you lane, you just throw a sunstrike when enemies on the sidelanes have been sufficiently harassed.

Edit pak01_015.vpk with some editor (Notepad++ for example)
Find these three sections:

Replace the bolded with 0.0 (sets volume to 0 for these sounds). NOTE THAT 0 doesn't work. Has to be 0.0!

I don't think this will get you banned in anyway, as its just changing volume, but dont take my word for it, I take no responsibility.

I wonder if Valve will really wait till next week, or release the new items later tonight. They are already in the Game Files.
 
so wait, are a lot of those polycount entries not going to make it? because they are all much better than anything that came from the workshop.
