If he is not in lane (where he is pretty good), he will be at the jungle, oftentimes below half health.
Gank him. Gank him to death.
By the time he finishes farming and starts fighting, you should have gotten (a) Ghost Sceptre, (b) Force Staff if you realize that you have not been able to shut the Lifestealer down. Then kite him until rage wears off, and beat on his face.

Hopefully unusual essences drop from this event, since then I can upgrade my unhatched orange egg. Definitely will play it a bunch.

I just remembered that I never played Diretide... I hope they give out free Greevils this time too.
Very possible. They already have Day 3 up, and normally they put the upload on the last day. Also it wouldn't make sense to do a test client update for something this big, they didn't do one when the store opened or Diretide.
Also how do I play Nyx? What's his wombo combo? Do I need to be in Vendetta like all the time?

New mode (?) + new hero(es??)? Hopefully we get some fun out of it.
Vendetta does bonus damage when you come out of invis so, Vendetta > Stun > Mana burn > Autoattack > Stun wears off so put on Spiked Carapace > Autoattack some more.
If the target is still alive or has a lot of hp, you are under leveled, or it's late game.
Add Dagon in somewhere and most heroes will be dead before they can do anything.
Nyx is heavily dependent on his burst damage to kill. Look for lone heroes or squishy supports in teamfights, focus them down ASAP, and then run around with Spiked Carapace annoying all those still alive with AOEs or think they can attack you.
Guess we'll find out later.

It looks like a greevil hunt. It says anytime you kill one it spits up a gift for friend or foe. So either its like horde mode with greevils, which would be hilarious, or maybe just normal mode with a random greevil appearing on the map somewhere forcing you to work together to kill him and teamfights? I'm probably not even close but meh

Once she gets 1000+ crits with superior levels you are pretty much screwed.

Ghost Scepter and pray you don't get crit when it's not up. If she's snowballed to the point where she has say, Satanic and a bunch of damage items, you're pretty much screwed.
Otherwise disables like Scythe of Vise and maybe Force Staff to put some distance between you after she blinks in, but like I said, if it's to the point where she can kill you with a couple crits anyway, there's not much to do but die in a gore explosion.
Other people may have better advice.
