I've played a handfull of games where the losing team can turn the game around because they have a Troll Warlord. I'm sure there's probably easy counters to him, but at the moment that hero is just smashing pub games. He's like a Divine Rapier for the team. In one game, our team had 2 lanes with barracks down and the other only had their first line of towers down. The combination of Troll Warlord and me as a decently fed Ogre Magi was brutal. Buildings would go down instantly and we were able to win.

only played once against him and we beat him, he wasnt even a factor

I had a guy who randomed Meepo and knew he was awful at it, but he kept making everyone laugh that it was okay. He was pretty upfront about being terrible, and just kept typing "MEEEPPPOOO" when he died or killed a creep camp or something. Or "Why u kill maepoo :(" when he was killed.

I don't know, it was funnier in game and we didn't really care. It was all random, and you get meepo, it's kind of expected

I had something similar happen to me in solo q a while ago, except the guy that randomed meepo and sucked was purge. Fucking purge.

Statman Bruno was just announced to be joining the GD Studio.

James tweeted he was looking for more apartment space lol, now we know why. I really wonder where they all sleep, do they have bunk beds over there? Or do they just rent rooms close to the studio..

You need decent supports. It's not just instawin

Man the one I submitted didn't make it in. Pudge (G-Unit) and me (Lion) camped on Radiance cliff right above the big creeps (he got there with Force Stuff and I got their with Blink). One by one their heroes came there and got exterminated... it was fucking hilarious.

I just had the two best matches of my short Dota 2 career back-to-back. My scorelines were 8/1/4 in the first and 12/0/3 in the second. It was the first time where I had a clear plan in mind for the game, managed my lane well and picked my fights wisely. Obviously, it helps that I'm playing with fellow noobs but it felt really good to play well with a hero that I really like (Luna!) The second game also featured the worst Dazzle I've ever seen. He was an all-you-can-eat buffet and I tucked in.

It was doubly awesome because I had just come off a pretty bad game with her where I got behind early thanks to my roommates dog throwing up. By the time I got back from getting the dog squared away, I was 3 levels down on the Drow Ranger in my lane :(

I thought LoL games were supposed to be short. Had an 83 minute match :|

Can't escape long Moba games.

Edit: You can buy Dota 2 invites from the steam market now for a grand total of .03.

Remember when Meeru clawed and begged and disguised his way into gaf games so he could pretend to be decent and have pretend friends?

oh wait it still happens

Remember that time Meeru made 3 grand on invites?

He was smarter than all of us.

Didn't he loose a decent chunk of that money due to the keys being voided and him having to give refunds, or was that just wishful thinking?

I'm going to hang on for mine for a few days and see if demand will uptick at all.

Sweet lord Pudge is beastly when used by a good player

He went 40/0 and was lvl 25 8 minutes in

We stood no chance. Its very annoying when a high lvl player joins a noobs only game. Spoils the fun

We're they intentionally feeding him? I don't know how that's possible.

Sounds like a bunch of noobs with one good player getting all the kills. Reminds me of my 36 kill Shadowfiend game. I queued up with some new players and only one player on the opposite team was any good.

Feeding on noobs with Pudge is very easy because newcomers have very obvious behaviours and habits that can be exploited.

Had my first game as Outworld Devourer tonight, and it went very well. The other team had 4 carries, so their low INT made my ult hit like a freight train. It was awesome. My Arcane Orb was doing a huge chunk of damage too. Will definitely play him again.

My other game was with Faceless Void, and it was miserable. I was completely useless for the first ~40 minutes, and by then the other team's Doom and Invoker were 5 levels above me and very farmed. Thankfully my team's Troll Warlord and Slardar ended up getting a lot of kills in the mid-late game and we came back for the victory.

I keep trying to enjoy AGI carries, and I keep getting reminded that it isn't fun to farm for ~80% of the match only to enjoy the last ~20%. The only exceptions so far have been Luna and Phantom Assassin.
