did he go mid? I just don't understand. That lineup is a Nyx dream come true: no right-clickers, all squishy as hell.
 
I think I just had my first game where I was kicking myself for not buying a Midas. I was Sven, farming top so well, almost no opposition. I could have had it by seven minutes easily. Oh well, I got MoM, BKB, and Crystalys and went 11/2/4 in a 29 minute match. I think that's my best Sven game.

Can anybody see whats wrong in this picture?

Hint:
Look at his spells, also not an UI bug, they actually changed places, Illuminate was bound to R etc. Everybody in the game could see it and a relog did nothing to fix it.

THIS HAPPENED TO ME. OH MY GOD IT DID. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING CRAZY OR I MESSED WITH SOME SETTING.
 
More Rod of Atos! This time on Pudge.

This item is insane, it basically gave me mana/hp (which pudge wants) and FREE HOOKS whenever I wanted them due to the 1200 range on the active.

I think if a hero had the exact same skill (60% targeted slow 1200 range 12 sec CD) it'd be considered a pretty useful utility spell and worth putting a bunch of skillpoints into. The 20 int and 325 health are just the icing on the cake here.

Going to keep buying it on every utility hero until it catches on and gets nerfed.
 
Atos is beast mode on Outworld. I once made that in a game where we were behind and because of it I got a bunch of kills really fast. Atos is beast on Silencer, Leshrac and DP too.

I want to make it on Mirana one day just for those arrow hits.
 
I just played Storm Spirit for the first time in all random and I'm now utterly confounded as to why Storm Spirit isn't picked in every game of DotA. Dude is a motherfucker, I was destroying any hero one on one and I was cleaning up in team fights post initiation. He's probably the most fun character I've played as because of how active you are in the late game with your ulti and overcharged shots. I'm guessing he's not picked often due to him being pretty bad in lane before he gets his tools?

He's not very competitive against most of the top pick mids right now. He's also very item dependent.

edit: As far as pubs go, he's a more advanced hero.

What about the fact that he has totally over the top flaming dialogue.
I'm not to sure that sits well with the dudebro's and the homocallers.

edit: same voice actor as pudge, es, aa, ds, sf, doom

Storm Spirit is amazing although early on you really have to be mindful about your mana. A low mana Storm Spirit is as good as dead in most cases. SS hates mana burners and silencers so he can be kept down before he gets his Linken/BKB plus quite a few mid heroes can own him hard. Once he starts snow balling though he's really hard to keep down. I think he's not picked much because he needs items to get going and in pubs he is not exactly noob friendly.

He's one of my favorite heroes but I haven't played him much in DOTA 2. Different meta game from when I used to play SS and I am very out of practice with him playing mid.
 
Is this a good build for a support venge?

Skill build is 1-3-1-3-2-4-1-3-3-1-4-2-2-2-4 and then stats

I go courier/wards if needed>headdress>treads>aquila>buckler>mek>yasha>force rod>S&Y>Atos(because of Gaf)
Of course i'm not including sentry wards and dusts i buy if needed.

I used to go mantra style at the end , but I found that by the time i have it.The game is pretty much over.
 
I always get Desolator for Venge because if I can afford it that means we are already going to win and it's time to kill steal.

Also, who is Medallion of Courage good on? I saw a Dazzle use it and with Weave it seems to be really effective.

Most recent usage I've seen was Weaver bumping up his early/mid game damage a fair chunk (in combination with the minus armor from the beetles). Common pickup on Lycan before he was bludgeoned with the nerf stick, good pickup on a support hero for teamfights in general.

Lycan uses it for fast roshan.

Could be useful on TA, I usually save up for bigger items.

I like to use it when I'm playing a support, usually for people who can benefit a ton from it. Its really nice for faceless void if you're playing a support with low range, you can debuff the target he's attacking in the sphere.

Lycan (item made for this hero), supports that are having a great early game, sometimes enigma/furion/chen if you want an early rosh. Don't like it on TA/BH.
 
Tried to play a rubick, didn't go as well as I hoped. Too many keys to pressss! Still won, but Drow had me in her pocket.

few games later... KOTL. nuuuu! I have lost all games when I play him.
Oh well I say. Let's do this for the luls. It was hilarious! Me, wisp and sniper tri laned bot. Was a disaster but ended up doing a pretty good job and won the game in the end.
Now that I think I have the hang of mr keeper, I'm getting ideas on a cosmetic mount for him. Ho-hum.
