Am farmed 2 before his bkb and proceeded to lose them.
Our Furion farmed 2 to counter it.
We had all 4 at one point, but our kotl got jumped on which lead us to lose them.
Also his dagon build didn't help at all.
What a throw on our part.

Have played about 40 hrs of dota now, some random thoughts/questions...
I would say my main hero is Lion atm, hes not too hard to use and is pretty versatile. Plus I like nuking people. Most of the games I've been holding my own fine, winning in mid or laning etc although sometimes I still get caught out because I still haven't seen all of the heroes yet. Like earlier me and an Undying (he did suck to be fair) got wrecked by Crystal Maiden + Slardar, they definitely had some synergy... Crystal Maiden seems really good.
Enjoying the game though, apart from when you get a shitty team which like 70% of the time, but whatever.
Is Drow op in public? It's not really a problem because most people who pick her suck, but she is in 9/10 games and seems to be able to wreck everything in the hands of anyone who mildly understands the game. Plus, that silence is mean as hell. I had a few games as Sniper in the beginning as you kind of stay at a safe distance, not too much pressure, but now I see so many weaknesses in him. I think I got woken up after a Chaos Knight repeatedly wrecked me.
Riki is another pub favourite, he isn't too bad to deal with though provided he isn't fed and your team deals with him accordingly. (detection etc.)
Huskar, this guy is so irritating sometimes... I dunno, he just seems to let the player make a lot of mistakes at not much cost.
There are a lot of douchebags online, as expected, being a Quake III and SC2 player I'm used to these lot in competitive games anyway. Weirdest insult yet was when some guy called me and another 'unsportsmanlike cunts' for ganking him. Um, dude?
I could go on forever I guess, but yes I'm liking the game. I just wish people which actually play it as a team more...

Servers are acting up... I got DCED twice and couldn't reconnect.
Today I had a PA kill herself twice from attacking my Undying with ult plus Blademail. 3rd time she started attacking the guy next to me and STILL died from the return damage on the cleave.
We lost the match because our carry had nothing late game but it was fun wrecking fools with Undying.

What's been up with the servers as of late? It's taking time to find servers when it never took more than 5 seconds before now and I was just dced from a match I was about to win.

Worst was being DC'd and not being allowed to join two won games. I was awarded a loss for both. Fucking bull shit.

Luap's New Hero Adventures™ continued tonight, despite the servers lagging like shit.
Rubick: Yeesh. I didn't do horribly but I certainly didn't play great; at least I played support so I was able to help the team, especially with his Q. Like NP, I feel like he's one of those heroes that requires a fair bit of practice to play properly. I kept forgetting to use his ult, but at the end I was finally able to steal Centuar's which was awesome. Overall Rubick is pretty fun; with more practice I could see him being really fun.
Nyx: Very fun and useful hero. I went mid against Drow and it went alright at first, and then I got my ult and my team started ganking, and it was awesome. I completely shut Drow down in the midgame, and served as the team Gem holder in order to shut Riki down. I love how he has great killing power with rather minimal farm: I spent most of the game with just Bottle, Arcane Boots, and Dagon.
That Nyx game was one of the most challenging and fun matches I've played in a while. The enemy Meepo was level 21 when my team was sitting around level 16. We won 2 crucial team fights at the end, which let us take their rax and throne them afterwards. Before that it really could have gone either way.

This actually crashed my client the other day. I was playing a game, and accidentally clicked the Console button. And I saw that Error Bone message for Drow, and it froze my client.
Got an abandon because of it. Have no idea what it meant. Derp.
