So after watching Resurrection F is it sad that i really want someone to hurt or kill Videl in front of Gohan so he can snap and we get bad ass gohan back?

That's funny, because in previous episodes Gohan showed to do exactly what Piccollo said he wouldn't ever do, in the HTC training with Goku. If any, it's the sudden change to being a pacifist that did not want to fight Cell, that was a complete break of character at the time.

Some of Gohan and Goku's HTC training is filler.

Gohan prefers to forgive, but for different reasons than his father. It's likely due to Piccolo.

Gohan has shown his willinglness to fight plenty of times before that too. Definitely did never show any signs f pacifism whatsoever. And no, the refusal to attack Nappa wasn't, that was a little boy being scared in his first real fight.

Just because he doesn't act like Goku does, doesn't make him a pacifist.

I don't really see what that has to do with Piccolo and if it did have something to do with him Gohan would've been like that in earlier parts of the story.
Gohan knew he had a hidden power that could be unlocked but he was scared to release it for fear of hurting his loved ones/the planet.
He was just afraid of hurting Cell IIRC.

Gohan had to defend himself multiple times before the final fight with Cell, he's never been the instigator really. The first time he ever actually rose to the occasion and started a fight himself without being pushed was against Super Buu.

Bad-guy-turned-good-guy Piccolo is Gohan's teacher and more attentive to his needs than his biological father.

Goku actually trained Gohan just as much and if he were to "learn to forgive" I don't see why that would be coming from Piccolo. The only time he spent with Piccolo was that one year during the Saiyan Saga along with the three years alongside Goku and I don't see any of that happening then.

Any of what? Kind of lost you there. I was saying Gohan likely has his strong will to forgive because Piccolo is basically Gohan's idol and surrogate father figure during his childhood. Then there's also Vegeta, who was forgiven and came back to somewhat help him later in the Namek sagas.

Hey he linked it.

I explained the reasoning behind it in detail in my previous post. I just found it funny that the thing he linked said virtually the same thing as me. ;o

Also I gyazo'd my drawing, people had issues with twitter. It's 25% of the resolution but it will do.

I might do more of these, tell me which character would be cool ! Not promising i'll pick the most popular but it can give me ideas =) .

This is awesome.

I might even sacrifice Pan with her if it helps

I mean mother and child combo that's gotta be a fierce power awakening! Videl with child death? T_T.......... what happens to in utero Pan in DBZ-verse, would she go to heaven too? That could be pretty sweet then just being born into heaven without being born onto Earth. Though if resurrected alone I'm sure she'd die right away ala Frieza returning as chopped bits... unless the dragon balls for Videl to be revived with her? Else I suppose you'd revive Videl first, who might be revived un-pregnant, but then you revive Pan who just comes back to life in the womb.

Hmm

Just read the Dragon Ball Super manga scans with translation. I actually really enjoyed it, so now I'm slightly sad it'll be so long before we get to the new arc in the anime.

Just watched episode 15. Hate it.

Satan is just so annoying, if anyone is going to die please let it be him.

Pretty funny episode. Wonder if we're getting the dog race soon as well for shits and giggles.

God I hope Goku becomes a policeman with Kuririn in this series. Would be awesome.

I kind of wish Dragonball were even more over the top with the humor/slice of life episodes, closer to something like Gintama's comedy episodes. I feel like there isn't enough humor because everything is often too normal in spite of the characters involved... although considering how I've seen many people hating Piccolo's appearance in this episode, it'd probably be even more disliked.

The new manga spoilers have me hyped for Super now, I wasn't too keen on the retreading and was eager to see where it would go and I love it!
Given what they said about the humans being wiped out I guarantee either Goku did it alone or he took Raditz's offer and the Saiyans are still roaming around, maybe they even killed Freeza.

Ok, I'm done with this show. I'm not liking the current arc and I don't like the tournament idea neither. So, it's enough for me.
You don't like a tournament idea... In Dragonball?

And let's not forget that the last two tournament arcs from Z quickly changed into something else. So how about we see where this takes us before bitching, shall we?

I, for one, am stoked.

You know....Return of F, it pretty much blew. There wasn't much at all I enjoyed about it. The bright spots were Jaco who despite looking kinda meh turned out to have a pretty cool and amusing personality. I figured he was going to be one of those annoying Naurto or hardcore justice types, but nope he doesn't want to do paper work or get involve in shit. I liked that. Vegeta had a nice new costume. Bulma looked pretty good design wise which can't say often. Beerus is always fun. Roshi kicking some ass for the first time in forever was nice even if it did mean the army was amazingly weak by standards of the show. And I kinda like the Pilaf gang getting something for once, watched the original DB so it was nice to see them get a happy ending.

But the overall story, Goku being taken by a ring ray(would that even hurt him as a teen?!) . Gohan being an absolute joke was terrible. Time travel do over, wasn't too fond of that though the animation for the world going boom was pretty cool. And of course the huge big issue in itself.........Frieza was himself not really an issue. In the end Goku or Vegeta could have easily handled him, it felt like they let him get in some shots just to not make it a total one sided battle. In the end it felt pointless, the hype was not worth it. It felt pretty underwhelming and mediocre.

Sadly Super is following that.

Dragonball AF vibes everywhere.

Universe 6 is actually a world were Senbei Norimaki found Dr. Gero's notes and sold it to the public, which ended up converting the human race into cyborgs with Arale as their leader.

Im actually a fan of the more slice of life episodes, I really enjoyed the episode of vegeta hanging out with his family for instance, and what i realized some months ago aswell as other people on rewatch now that they're older, is that they enjoyed gohan's saiyaman arc where he just went around and talked to people, especially after 7 years and seeing krillin with a family and seeing gohan fumble through highschool and his relationship with videl blossom.

The tournament arc soon after was also pretty enjoyable how everyone was just having fun and vegeta was acting all smug when trunks beat goten, was hilarious.
Until shit hit the fan.
