Except that Gohan is shown as being the strongest ever.

I love how out of context this image makes it looks like Vegeta has the upper hand.
Then like 2 seconds later Hit is fist deep inside of Vegeta.

And somehow we forgot Hit has another power besides the time skipping...

Monaka being a fraud is a total waste of a slot. the fact that he's there to motivate goku and vegeta is so dumb to me! they are already pretty fucking self-motivated

hit is cool as fuck though. I want a figure of him badly.

Buu was a waste too and Piccolo, while his fight was cool... I would have liked to see more.

As of right now Beerus is kind of unreachable in terms of strength of Goku and Vegeta, so Monaka is just a little something extra to push them for now. I would have liked him to be a strong guy, but I don't think it's that dumb.

That was a really good episode. Poor Vegeta getting bopped, lol. But this is the Goku I've missed for so long. It's DB Goku. :_;

Hit's ability is interesting. The simple explanation Jako says is that he stops time for everyone else but him for 0.1 seconds. However, going by the name, I think he literally hops, skips, or drops that second for everyone else while doing his action. Alternatively, he 's actually causing it to occur as he's doing his action. That would explain why he can get hit by Goku and not do something about it, probably... lol. Anyway, it's definitely not stopping, I don't think because .1 at the speed they're fighting is a looooooong time.

Fantastic episode.

Pacing and art have been so awesome those past few episodes.

Loved to see Goku show why he's number 1. And not because of brain dead powering up.

Goku figuring out Hit's weakness without even transforming was great. Vegeta is my favorite character, but this is why Goku has always been one step ahead. He's a genius when it comes to fighting.

I'm still not a fan of what they're doing to his personality, but this was nice to see.

Yeah, I feel that's where his intelligence really lies. It took a long time for other characters to develop technique over pure brute strength.

The way I see it, Goku is one of the "learnt to play sheet music" characters (along with Krillin, Tien, Piccolo, and Roshi) while most of the other characters are the "learnt music by ear" type that generally got pushed into combat due to circumstance (Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Buu) where their training focuses more on body building and new plateaus of strength.

Basically, Goku spends all his time on how to better master his current self while Vegeta spends his time on body building and power output. I think it's why Goku generally seems to adapt better to new situations while things out of his Vegeta's scope instantly confuse him and get him flustered.

Another amazing episode. Second half was the best. Finally they decided to not have Goku act like an idiot all the time. This is the Goku we all know and love.

Next week is gonna be even more amazing if the spoilers are to be believed.

Man. I love it when this series brings it in the art and animation departments. Watched a little of the episode live then realised it was too good not to wait for in HD later today.

I got about 30 seconds into the episode before I had to stop.

Not this time, need subs for this one.

Keeping an eye on the translator's Twitter, he already said it'd be up earlier than usual. That was 6 hours ago though.

I think that
SSB+Kaikoen should be a Dark Blue Hair Color

Also did they ever explain how Vegeta got God Powers in the manga or something?

Just had the chance to watch it and FUUUUUCK YEAH HITTTTTTOOOOOOOOSANSHUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Hit is one of the scariest motherfuckers in a long time.

-My last hope for this show, Monaka turns out to be utter bullshit
-Vegeta becomes momentarily mentally handicapped when fighting Hit, unable to land a punch because Idontknowwhy
-Mentally handicapped Goku momentarily becomes a genius, is able to land punches on Hit in base form and punches from Hit don't do fuck all because plotholefortheGokuwin
-Gohan still shit
-Hit aesthetically looks fucking awful, a purple penis head basically

You'll always be my No 1 Vegeta, despite Toriyama doing a dooky on you every chance he gets. And yet, I can't stop coming back and seeing how else Toriyama can abuse my delicate feelings. :(

People need to stop giving Vegeta a hard time here. He gave Goku the information he needed to beat Hit.

Vegeta managed to grab onto Hit just after his strike meaning he can't react after he's made his initial move. It looks like Jaco and that squid guy tell Goku how they think its working and that's how Goku formulates his strategy.

Someone had to be beaten by Hit so the next fighter could learn how to beat Hit. It just so happens a tired Vegeta was Hit's opponent.

I just hope they keep this theme going for the rest of Hit's fights. I don't want it to devolve into normal combat.

Next week is gonna be soooo good.

Can't wait!

Jaco and the squid guy tell Goku that Hit can stop time for 0.1 seconds. They didn't know how to counter it.

I do agree though. Goku probably would have lost if he went first. But plot and all that. Vegeta had a good run anyway.

Vegeta getting rekt, nothing better. Now I need badass Gohan back and we're golden.

After subs, some pretty interesting info :

- It IS illegal to control time, but Jaco and the galactic King pretend they haven't seen anything because they're scared to be killed off by Hit.

- Hit tells Goku that he will die if he doesn't stop getting touched by his attacks, on his vital points. (when not transformed)

- Goku says that SSB uses far too much stamina, and that he doesn't want to waste it, so he'll only use it after he figures out Hit's technique.

So that explains why Jobetta jobbed and why Goku went this way.

Love it. Pure DBZ.

The show has been honestly brilliant those past few episodes. And the pacing man. Even the art has been fairly good lately.

Super excited for next week. And even more for episode 41.

The gods of Dragon ! The wish that will launch the new arc of Super ?!

Well, I don't think beating 3 opponents prior is really jobbing. Vegi did good, and he definitely helped Goku win. It could have easily happened the other way around if Goku wasn't poisoned anyway.

How about we don't pretend that Goku's "trump card" is not gonna be 90% of the reason he actually wins this fight.

Vegeta had no such thing and would have gotten crushed no matter who went first.
