Definitely not. The handling is always consistent irrelevant of position.
great, thanks for clarifying.

Fuck me. I'll remember this when "diminishing" returns comes up again.

To be fair, Rushy probably played the game slightly more than Shaun.

He framed it all within that E3 is not a great environment to play the game and that he only played the game a limited amount of time because that's just how E3 works with demos. As someone who is trying to get his own YouTube channel off the ground to make a claim that assist are present when they aren't is a big deal. And anyone who plays a decent amount of driving games should be able to tell if assist are changing mid race, let alone if they are present or not.

If DriveClub is "100% arcade", then what are games like Blur?E3 Impression on handling model

Not sure whether has been some mis-communication or interpretation of what has been said or played but the facts are straight forward
> There is no rubber banding - Cars can never go faster than there performance stats allow (AI or human)
> There are no dynamic assists that affect performance based upon position - We never slow down or speed up players online to keep them grouped together.
Hope this clears things up.

It wasn't a booth assistant. It was Design Director Simon Barlow.
Although it's being denied, I have a feeling this is still something under the hood of the game that he let slip. He made it CRYSTAL clear to me.

Now where's that weather footage? Is there an ETA on when we can expect it?

Waste of resources. Looks pretty, but how does it impact the core gameplay.
Yes Rushy please, WaveStorm would be nice, with both land and sea vehicles driving next to each other on the coasts, over rivers and waterfalls...just imagine the mayhem paired with PS4 horsepower?![]()
Damn the amount of detail in this game. As I said before, it's the type of game I'd probably find enjoyment in even if the gameplay wasn't particularly memorable. Just enjoying the lush visuals, mmm
The cockpits are freaking amazing, too. Made better, there are two cockpit modes, one which is further up on the dash. It's the best viewpoint I've ever seen in a racing game because it gives you the authentic 'in the car' feel while not jeopardizing half of your screen. I hope other games incorporate such a view in the future.
The club part will fall off after a while. But I remember Gotham having a free mode that was just fun. Had to knock down all cones to end level. Haven't heard much about what it will take to unlock 50 cars, or credits for upgrades?Damn the amount of detail in this game. That is true AFAIK. You can personalize them with liveries, but there is no customization beyond that.

Even if it's just motorstorm 2 with just racing as the point, it will be enjoyable.

Every thing is modeled in such insane detail, and then the effects placed on top... just feels so authentic its mesmerizing just watching some of these gifs.
Hachi machi. And just think: this is a tiny compressed gif, so how amazing is it going to look on a 1080p TV?
The difference is quite the sight to behold.![]()

Haha, didn't realise. Says a lot - well, about shrunken gifs, anyway. To be honest, I don't really care where its from - that looks pretty great to meThat's FH2 on the Xbox One, that's not Driveclub, the lighting in DC is way past that.

Edit:
I believe its because there's more "going on" in that gif, as opposed to the effects. The Driveclub gif has better graphics, but nowhere near as much happening over the course of the gif.
that gif makes the game look horrible. Who ever made that gif should never be let to make gifs again. It makes even the lighting to look mediogre.
If by "more going on" you mean more colorful Ridge Racer flags, then I gotta admit, you're right.Haha, didn't realise. Says a lot - well, about shrunken gifs, anyway. To be honest, I don't really care where its from - that looks pretty great to me
