Basically my feelings. Worth it for $5? Sure, if you have the free time to spare and are curious. If you're looking for a really fun way to spend your time, I'd save the money.

It isn't a ton of fun, but it is at least refreshing to some degree due to how divergent it is from the rest of the genre.

lol at "dolla" , i rented this when it came out from red box and i had a fun time, the multiplayer was fun the first day.

bleh the game was ok in Vegas but once you left to the desert it went to zzzzzzzzzz

Seeing as how the FPS genre has devolved into extremely linear, heavily scripted junk, you would think most people would consider something playing like an old school FPS as high praise.

I can see that. I didnt read a single review of Duke Nukem Forever since i knew i was going to play it no matter what, even if it was the worse rated games of all time hehe.

It's much more appealing to be an Internet tough guy saying things like "THEY OUGHTA BE PAYIN' ME! 5 DOLLARS IS TOO MUCH FOR SOMETHING I HEARD WAS SLIGHTLY MEDIOCRE."

Clearly.

Hehe, i guess it is just a way to joke about how good/bad the game is, but yeah, it is definitely worth $5 in my opinion. If this was an indie game, people would have said the opposite, such a long game (relatively speaking) for just $5, and with disc, cover and manual included as well. As someone above here said, i think it is worth buying it just to own it.

Hah. This reminds of me of how people are still hesitant to get Metroid: Other M at a measly 10 dollars. A full-budget console game for dirt cheap.

I guess when your game is a fraction of its original price and people still don't really care to buy or play it, then you made a wrong turn somewhere.

It's not always about money. Some games just aren't worth playing. If a game is bad, what does it matter if it costs 2$ or 10$? I have Other M and I wouldn't suggest anyone to play it unless they had nothing else to play. Who even cares if they're giving copies away? I only have finite time to play games considering other responsibilities, so do I waste my time playing a game that's only 5$ if it's bad? Or do I play one I enjoy, regardless of the price?

I had fun playing it, therefore it meets my requirements to be good. Keep in mind this is the internet, I'm guilty of doing the same thing - blowing things waaaaaay out of proportion.
