E3 2010 Schedule and News Summary -- JUNE 15-17

So all this stuff showing live, etc., thats going to be viewable after right? I know, stupid question, but I don't have all day to watch all this shit.

Once upon a time the forum used to be closed to members only during the busier parts of E3. However, in recent years policy's shifted very strongly towards keeping the boards open to all throughout.
 
Quick question, is there going to be a liveblog of the Sunday night Natal reveal, or is it going to be NDAed until it airs on Tuesday?

I mean, it'd be kinda silly for Microsoft to tape an entire event in a huge arena and not assume there'd be leaks. Remember, they tried this already in 2005 with the 360 reveal, and that went hilariously well.

iv been having 500 errors all day, this doesnt promise much good for e3. we had a pretty normal day today with nothing big announced, imagine the press conferences etc

Why do I keep reading people saying everywhere that the Natal broadcast conflicts with one of the main conferences? (sony or nintendo) In the OP they're clearly not conflicting. The times in the OP are correct right?

There was a big event going on the OT, with a comparable amount of F5ing and posting to that of a main E3 conference.

Last I heard, from listening to the GTTV thing, they are airing the broadcast of the Natal event at 3:30 EST time on Tuesday, which is I believe right at the same time as Sony Conference, unless I heard it wrong.

Unless they meant Pacific time

See, that's ridiculous. Why does Microsoft think that they can stuff hundreds of games journalists, the general media, and
numerous good-looking overly energetic extras
fans into a huge freaking sports arena and NOT think something will leak?

Oh they'll be expecting leaks in fact doing this before their main show means all those facebookers and twitterers and various journalists create more hype so more people will tune in on monday to see their press conference.

Now whether that's to see win or fail no one knows yet. :lol

It would also be huge news if Microsoft bought Nintendo and the next super Smash Bros had Master Chief in it. I wouldn't recommend posting random blog links that say it's going to happen.
 
Can someone let me know what GAF's E3 IRC channel is(even via PM as people are so reluctant to post it?) I really wanna get in there for E3, but I've never actually been able to find the channel for it. It's like a bloody urban legend. :lol

Yeah, same here :lol

I've said it before in this thread, but an IRC channel would be great. It could be set up so you could use a web client like Mibbit, for those that doesn't have a real client.

Last year I think there was two channels, the main neogaf one and an E3 made one which people joined, it worked quite well as it was just a temp channel, hit like 900 people? I forget :lol
