Im not a console fan boy. i own a xbox, playstation and wii but come on, this is disappointing to say the least in the graphics department. Even the tech demo looked like something I would have seen at E3 from the 360 or Ps3 5 years ago.

I'm sorry I remember those tech demos funny how the 360 crowd is forgetting the memes created from the debut. Considering how many post we can clearly some some didn't think nintendo would match the two current hd systems I'm surprised.

Anyone wanting WiiHD knows it means business the rest of you haters can get the steppin. Just like Wii first year tease next year let the epic trolls and meltdowns commence calling it right now.

So many people are jumping to conclusions here. We have over a year until this thing comes out, there is plenty of time for software announcements. I instantly started of thinking of ways the controller will interact with games on the tv and there are so many possibilities. I'm excited for it and will buy it day 1.

Luigi's Mansion was a new 3DS game.

But yes, it was disappointing. No truly exciting games, that goes for this whole E3.

I am not kidding when I say this is the worst press conference I've ever seen. Even in Giant Enemy Crab, Robbie Drumz, Kinect shit show, at least they played A GAME. ANY GAME. I'd rather the publisher take some chances and put it on the line than this horrible, cowardly, awful show.

The point being, the engine is able to run on slightly above Wii level hardware is mind-blowing more than it coming to the console.

I'm not buying it as I'm going to take a wait and see approach to the console as we've been down this road before and 3rd parties will abandon it a year in again. But if Nintendo and third parties stay on it the concept of the controller (even if slightly unwieldy) is mindblowing.

I'd say this is a B conference because of the new hardware, but the Zelda opening and boring rehashes really dragged it down.

Um... it's slightly (or around) 360/PS3 level hardware.

For a system that is to be released in a year, they did not have very many games.

All they said was 2012... that could easily be a good 17 months off if they're aiming for a holiday release. Plenty of time to get a launch line-up together, especially if developers have had the dev units for a few months now and can bring multi-platform titles over.

so confusing, I say I hate the name and logo, also the presentation was bad. i'd give this a 7.5/10 or maybe even a 7 for me as it had stuff I wanted but was overall underwhelming compared to the e3 hype machine that preceded.

Should be great to play Zelda and Marios in HD with graphics on par with 360/ps3, but the giant screen controller did nothing for me, and I was expecting so much more out of this, don't know what exactly, but just anything more than a catch up to the competitions old hardware and a gimmick, I think I might be getting too old for gaming, the industry is just so... bah...
