Super disappointing conference.

All they had to do was show an awesome Mirror's Edge trailer and they would've won E3 for me.That "conceptual prototype" shit was a huge let down.

Would you have preferred a fake, cgi based trailer? Then people would just complain when gameplay is shown.
 
Got the Hardline beta to kind of start downloading on my PS4. I don't know why this worked, but I kept loading the store until it didn't have an error, then pressed the PS button on the controller to get to the main menu and went to Battlefield 4 and went down and then the Hardline Beta pic was there to click on. Took a few tries, but it eventually started downloading it after that. It's just very slow downloading the 6GB file.

No MM, No SSM, No Bend, no GG, no Quantic Dreams. My hype is way fucking down. Expect indies (I like them but.. not just that), Uncharted, The Order and Project Beast. Lets just pray Naughty Dog has something other than a CG trailer...
 
FIFA 15 a bit underwhelming graphically.

Also, far too many Liverpool & City players in that trailer for my stomach to take.

I didn't expect a lot going into this. EA just doesn't really make games I'm interested in. I'm hopeful for Dragon Age, but at this point, I'm going to be skeptical until I get some actual opinions from people.

They seem to be taking a "yeah, we know we aren't particularly popular right now, so we're listening to you," stance, which is fine and good, but I'll wait to see if anything comes of it.
 
not EA's best conference but what can they show when all their good stuff is still years away. New mass effect, new IP, tiger woods hitting golf balls over a battle crusier definitely enough there to say it was a solid outing.
 
So... is this how the golden age of gaming passes? Not with a bang... but a whimper?


In all seriousness, with how much was leaked from Microsoft (halo collection would have been HUGE) combined with how bad EA's showing was is a REAL hype killer even though we've literally just started E3.
 
I know a lot like to bash EA, but out of all the conferences EA and Ubisoft are my most anticipated, this is mainly due to the fact that most things in them do seem to feature PC games.

Last year EA was one of my favourite conference and had my top 2 games of the show (Titanfall and PvZ GW), this show however i would rate it a 2/10 (purely for the fact of the Star wars bit being in it), the entire show was a complete mess and can be put into 2 words - conceptual prototype.
 
Stanley Cup Finals in full swing, Los Angeles Kings are among the two teams competing for the greatest trophy in professional sports. All we get for NHL15 coverage is the trailer they put up on Facebook yesterday. Weak fucking sauce.

Yes actually.

We already knew Mirror's Edge 2 was in development. Showing concept arts and a few seconds of untextured tiny 'development playground areas' did nothing for me.

We don't even know what the story is about for the game. Instead of providing actual details on the game, we got the developers talking about how they are going to make the game along with a few seconds of concept footage.
 
After what, thirteen years of watching E3 conferences, I think this may well have been the worst one I ever saw. The only interesting thing was to hear the Mass Effect tune. That's it. They had absolutely nothing to show. A colossal waste of time. They rented a room for this? Holy shit, somebody fucked up. Even the cringe of the canned shrieks wasn't enough to make it interesting.
 
Kinda amazing that they still have so many prototypes. You would figure that they would have had more games in full production at the start of this generation.
 
Did I just get lucky or what? Finland here, already downloaded the game. Seems like I was able to download at full speed.

No joke, I had walked away from my laptop to get a drink, heard the screaming and ran back to see what had happened. I thought the massive screen had fallen over or something.
