But seriously, I would even prefer another CGI heavy conference like Microsoft had to THIS. What a shameful display. Even more so since it wasn't even remotely awkward or 'bad' enough to be memorable (the random screams don't count, those were just kinda weird).
 
I'm kind of stunned that they really aren't that far along on Mirror's Edge 2.

That was the worst conference I've ever watched. I guess it was a nice preview for the CG trailers we'll get next year.
 
And yes, they fucked up with Mass Effect 4 teasing. I can't believe how early the game must be, I only left disappointed.

SW Battlefront super early...

whaaaa' Dragon Age looks cool, but also last gen in some aspects.
 
I don't even know what to say. That wasn't just bad, that was downright offensive. Every non-Battlefield, non-Sims was a conceptual prototype. Half the show for sports. A fucking MOBA. "Six New Games", with the exception of the FOUR we already knew were coming. PGA Tour was good for a "WTF" moment - but just EEEEW. I am DISPLEASED.

That was rather meh. A lot of the games looked okay (Hardline), but teasing stuff that's at least a year and a half off (Star Wars, Mirror's Edge, Criterion's new project, Mass Effect, Bioware's new IP) isn't good form when it is barely in presentable condition.

I'm going to go straight up C for them. Ubi's next but outside of Far Cry 4 I don't see them wowing us.

Looks like as is typical for E3, everything lies with Sony and Nintendo.
 
All Mass Effect 4 did was show some high res texture work and some Mass Effect music.

But that was enough.

Game of conference.
 
PSN went down after this? Jesus, Sony's network woes may convince me to pull the trigger on the X1 more than anything Microsoft showed today did.
 
hoped for more Battlefront and Mass Effect.
EA has the Star wars license I was hopeful for some more.
I was hopeful for more arcade/smaller titles such as Plants-zombies.

All I learned from EA's conference is that everything from them that I am interested in is so early that I won't be playing any of it until 2016 at the very earliest.

Great. Good marketing, EA.
 
i'm listening to these jokers on twitch tv talking about how people accepted mirror's edge's minimalism last gen as though gamers weren't all about high-end graphics, and that nowadays people accept that a mirror's edge game has a style.

good fucking lord.
 
This was worse than last years conference, and that was pretty shite too.

Sony, I am getting up at 2 o'clock to watch your conference, do not fuck up.
 
I can't believe that after a year after teasing Mirror's Edge 2 they come back with some developer interviews and some footage that could have been from the first game.
 
Shitty conference overall. Inquisition and Hardline look all right, but you shouldn't be bringing "conceptual prototypes" to E3, especially a year after some of the games were announced. Either have something more substantive or don't bring it at all.
