I KNOW the music belongs to MILLER'S CROSSING, but I would be SO happy if it stayed with the game.

Movies do this all the time. They'll borrow scores from other movies that work and no one bats an eyelash. Also, I always thought the score to Miller's Cross was incredible, but somehow never matched the sinister subject-matter of the film. This Trico Project on the other hand is served well by it. REALLY WELL. It will be impossible to tear these fascinating works of art apart in my imagination if in fact the score never makes it into the final project. The target teaser will ALWAYS be a magical moment in gaming history to me. Always . . .

This is possibly the coolest concept for a videogame I've ever heard of. They certainly outdid Ico and Shadow of the Colosus. It doesn't hurt that it looks amazing.

I've own a PS3 game since launch and there hasn't been a single game that has excited me. I like the 360 interface enough that I would even rather play inferior games on it just to have the functionality and community features it offers. HOWEVER, even if I didn't already have a PS3, this video would have sold me. I have never seen a trailer that impressed me so much with it's concept and execution.

You talked as if you already know exactly what the concept is and how it has been executed.

No fuckin way! This game is everything I ever dreamed of as a child. Watching that video, I was flooded with years of memories of dreaming to have my own giant creature to play with. I think everyone who has a heart dreams of this as a child. That's probably why games like Pokemon is so popular. People like building relationships with fantastic creatures.

But a fantastic creature that's also huge as fuck? Day fuckin one.

Well this looks absolutely fantastic.

Now I wonder if this will be the only large massive type creature in the game. It'd be an awful waste if the graphics didn't show off some amazing creatures. I think we can expect some other huge monsters in the game.

Another possiblity is that this creature is one of several the player will encounter and interact with throughout the game? Or the game could soley focus on this one cute little rat cat dog baby.

Either way, I can't wait to see more.

For the first time... the first fucking time since I first saw the gameplay videos of Half Life 2 have I felt the sheer joy of what video games can offer the soul. And before that it was when I read the cover story of FFIX in EGM.

Its everything that made Ico and SotC so god damn special wrapped in this glorious new idea and taken to knew heights that I always expected team Ico to deliever, but never fucking imagined what they would actually come up with...

Man it still hasn't completely sunken in yet.
This is what I've been waiting for this gen. Cancel all other games and just give me this. Team ICO just brings it to the next level once again. They have this magical touch that no one else has. Some people call their games Zelda quality, I love me some Zelda but to me Team ICO operates in an entire different league. Their games are the classics of our time.

No, but modding at GAF makes me have to see certain things not fit for consumption for the public (at the time they were revealed). I don't think I'm overstepping my boundaries (now that the video is out) to say that over a year ago when the video was first shown internally, a thread popped up at GAF containing details exactly like what was shown in this video. We had to remove that. When we have to remove things, that means it is real.

Actually sprsk was here too, do you remember that thread sprsk?

My guess is it got set free accidentally (or intentionally) by the boy and kicked ass (whilst getting hit with arrows) on the way out to that cliff edge...which I'm going to guess was its first time seeing the outside world being that its obviously a 'baby' yet its been chained/kept in confinement.
