I absolutely love TFA, but it had a lot of lifting to do. Had to be a bridge while starting up a new thing. That's not easy at all and JJ did great. But now Rian has free reign and can just go apeshit with this new stuff. JJ and Kasdan did a lot of the work and gave him a sandbox to play in.

Seems like they're being way too conservative with the plot for this trilogy, tying it too closely to the original trilogy. But I enjoyed TFA a lot, and I imagine I'll enjoy this too.

Plus they masquerade as providing CUTTING EDGE SW criticism when in reality they're complaining about millennials ruining everything and diversity in films. Oh by the way the newest hip criticism is that SW is SEXLESS!

Sure they've got their moments but the only decent stuff I've seen in it's entirety is the original PT reviews. And even those were overlong with petty criticisms.

And everyone runs their jokes into the ground.

Which isn't just bad art (why is Anakin's costume just repurposed BMX gear? Why does Padme's arm look like pulled taffy? Why is Anakin's left thigh longer than his head and torso? Why is he wearing Wario's belt? Had to make sure to carefully airbrush a camel-toe into Padme's crotch, huh.) but also doesn't make any sense in the world they're trying to depict.

Why would he be training Luke and Leia to be Sith? There can only be two. If he was training them to be Sith, why is he making em wear the salad bowls? Why isn't he making them fight each other?

I guess they don't spend half of that clip screaming or making dumb noises, so it can be in the upper half of typical Youtube clips.
