Who do you think buy the memorabilia from Steiner Sports? People who need to launder bit coins?
In 2012 autographed and game-used sports memorabilia was a $1.5 billion dollar market in the U.S., in 2013 that market increased to $2 billion. Eli Manning was also the top selling autographed, game-used memorabilia athlete.
It's a big blow to a fast growing industry.

That's like something OJ Simpson would do.
In the memorabilia.
The entire Manning family are dirtbags so I'm not that surprised.
Seriously dude?
When does Brady get arrested for his team's fraudulent championships inflating the value of his signature?
This is the fuel Eli needed. Superbowl #3 inc. This year
This is like the flat-earther thread.
WutSkeezy as hell though. Personally stealing from your biggest fans? Gross.
Seriously dude?
As a Cowboys fan looking at this completely objectively, I always knew he was scum.
A Cowboys fan would know how to spot one.
Oh well I take it all back if the NFL, the standard bearer for morality and principle, says he's man of the year it must be true.
*co-winner
who was the other winner, Greg Hardy?
He's also ripping off the collectors that ultimately buy this stuff.I really couldn't give a shit Eli knowingly/inadvertently ripped off a memorabilia merchant. They're bloodsuckers as far as I'm concerned.
Hopefully this keeps him out of the Hall as he really doesn't belong there. Alongside the 2006 Cardinals those 2 Giants teams are the most fraudulent champs in American sports history.
Manning sent an email to Giants head equipment manager Joe Skiba asking for "two helmets that can pass as game used."
Unless you think Manning has no idea his memorabilia partner planned to sell these to trusting fans.
Seriously who the fuck would wants Eli manning memorabilia anyways ?
That's like wanting a Dreamcast for Christmas but getting a sweater knitted by your grandmother
Any fan that trusts memorabilia sellers are already suckers. I don't feel bad if they buy a "game worn" jersey that's signed by some forger in the warehouse.
Sports memorabilia is serious business, and there are legit ways to get authenticated stuff from reputable dealers. But yeah, there is TONS of fake shit out there. It was so bad back in the 90's that even the FBI warned that random signed items had an 80% chance of being forged.Any fan that trusts memorabilia sellers are already suckers. I don't feel bad if they buy a "game worn" jersey that's signed by some forger in the warehouse.
