Good point that was my first thought as well, but again wouldn't one think journos first viewing of that would come at GDC?

Hm that's actually kind of an interesting thought, considering Crytek(specifically Crytek UK) allegedly will be showing a WiiU demo behind closed doors at GDC.

You could be right, so it might be a tech demo for something else (maybe the Wii U?). The "thing" comment stands out and so does the comment about people going crazy over how impressive it is. That sounds like a tech demo.
