By far my favorite Fallout game. I liked the first Fallout games, but lets be honest; they weren't great-looking games. Never understood why the game was harshly criticized by fans i.e. calling it "Elder Scrolls IV with guns" or some other non-arguments. As with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3 was pretty much synonymous with the Xbox 360, and a game I thoroughly enjoyed on that system. There were plenty moments of awe, it has a great start, the world was very interesting and atmospheric, the V.A.T.S. combat system was great, as were the game's quests and consequences from the player's choices.
It's among the best RPGs ever made in my opinion, and in my top 10 of 7th generation games.
