I wonder how many of the 'lol loser get laid get a life' people get outaged over video game news

Somewhere, Zack Snyder is breathing a sign of relief. Two years from now, people will blame Affleck for everything wrong with this movie... thus giving that talentless hack Snyder at least a few more years of life in Hollywood.

It still is today and most of the tweets are very cringeworthy.

This whole thing is embarrassing. It's a comic book movie for fucks sake not the presidency.

Wow. People need to grow the fuck up.

Seriously if they obsessed about the actual tragedies in the world as much as they do this we'd be so much better off, but alas whoever stars as your favorite superhero is more important than a starving child.

Affleck was in a lot of horrible movies for a while (basically before he married Jennifer Garner), so it's not a surprise.

real talk: this is fucking IR-REL-E-VANT, this movie will be garbage and DC will stay losing

now where's the "Bradley Cooper shouldn't be Rocket Raccoon" poll

What if it will just be Bruce Wayne talking with Clark and Lex Luther scenes and only at the very very very end Batman shows up but movie ends, just batman from behind btw.

I can see people liking that, let Ben do his Argo, The Town acting stuff and leave the action hero stuff to Superman

Complete waste of time. Wow!

Curious how many of those people will change their minds when the movie releases and realize he's better than they though

Haters are gonna hate

someone even submitted a petition to the White House "We the People" petition system that asked the government to make it illegal for Ben Affleck to portray Batman, or any other superhero, for 200 years.

Hahahahah!

It's just a movie people. Relax!!

Don't really get what people are up in arms about. But anyway, if this move to pick a controversial actor for the role was intentional, then smart move by Warners. People will be talking about the movie to no end, and by the time it rolls around even more people will want to watch it ( enough to make up for those 'hardcore Ben Affleck haters' who will refuse to watch it ) than had it been an unknown actor, just to see how it turns out. Like they say, all publicity is good publicity.

No one's actually saying this? Like at all?

People will see the movie to see Batman, I'm not sure it really matters who plays him. Really it all depends on the script.

is Ben a box office draw?

Is anyone a box office draw? People only care about specific actors when they're playing familiar characters nowadays (with rare exceptions, usually based on actors sticking to established character archetypes, before anyone screams "ADAM SANDLER THO" at me). Ben Affleck playing Batman means nothing to anyone at the moment.

"He is worst than George Clooney as Batman," says Vinicius Moretti

That Vinicius has a way with word. LOL

You know who isn't.

Ryan Reynolds

I hope they succeed.

And then get this:

It's not like I really LIKE Affleck, but I don't get this huge storm of dislike for him either.

Of course not, I meant if they put in the same amount of effort that they do for something as trivial as this they could actually make a difference. Sorry if it came off like I was saying some people don't care about starving children.

These folks must really be suffering from some sort of brain Afflecktion if they think this will get them anywhere.

Has there ever Ben a successful example of something like this working?
It'd be a dark knight indeed if WB bend to this kind of.... uh.... injustice.

...Batman.

Oh, I definitely agree with that. Especially with this being so meaningless. Sorry about the tone of my post.

I don't think this beats Batman fans sending death threats to reviewers who gave The Dark Knight Rises bad reviews.

Oh man I forgot about that. RT removed their comments sections to reviews after that as well.

What the fuck is wrong with people? I love movies and games as much as anyone, but death threats and petitions? Beyond stupid.
