I think it's more about the gesture. He's saying if people got this up in arms about things that actually mattered then we'd be a lot better of in general.
Pretty much. People are gonna be hating on this for years to come and most have already made up their minds about it. Every set pic will be picked apart. Everyone already hates the trailer. Lots of pre-salt. Pre-salt is the worst.
He probably expected it even if Daredevil is a decade old.

I don't think anyone fully grasped just how terrible it was until the movie came out honestly.
Dont get why people are all that into this, its not like Bale dropped oscar worthy performances as Batman, he was actually the opposite, he was kind of shit and was out shined by his supporting actors (Neeson, Ledger, Hardy) in all 3 movies.

People seem to forget that villains are the main selling point in batman movies. Jack Nicholson, michael fifer, Ledger, Liam, Hardy, Twoface, Penguin, hell even Mr freeze was interesting

Yeah, physically he looks more like a superhero than any other actors I can think of. Dude is tall and massive, without looking like a meathead. He also has the handsome playboy looks down.
His ability to perform the character is a different story. Hopefully he can pull it off but I'm really not sure.

Atleast give him a try before you try to run him out. DD was bad but it wasn't because of his acting.
I really like Bale's performance, but I doubt they're even aiming for the same type of batman.

Funny thing is that in this case, it's not even a Batman movie. It's Superman movie with Batman has a supporting character.
The point still stands that the casting of the villain is what really matters though. Especially since that villain will likely be Lex Luthor.

I just want an older Batman so we're finally one step closer to a Beyond movie. It's the main reason I was excited with the initial rumours that they were going to cast a more grizzled Batman.
