Pretty but way too much motion blur! I hope it looks better in video.
Look like the screenshots are taken from a photo mode where you can add things like motion blur. I dont think that the game will have that much motion blur in-game at least.

Looks cool, I will be sure to pick it up when it releases.

I mean if Nintendo isn't going to make a F-Zero then I will take the next best thing.

Looking good! With any luck the game will coming out later this year. I hope this game has online, because, unless I am remembering wrong, FAST! racing on Wiiware didn't have online.

I want this game. I didn't play the first one, how was it?

Nintendo should just licence F-Zero to these guys, hell they should take pitches from high profile Indies and let them make new games from dead franchises.

This makes too much sense and would be really awesome.

It does have the most generic name one could think of though.
Creativity in their IP is this studio's biggest failing. It's why I would love to see Nintendo let them develop F-Zero. It gives them direction in terms of IP that they don't have and a strong property to work with, and the guiding hand of Nintendo to make sure the pieces go where they need. Their gameplay, graphics and performance are always top notch. They just need that other aspect.

I guess we will be getting a trailer by E3, or hope so. My biggest concern is always the controls in this kind of games. I hope they nail them.

Nintendo should buy Shin'en, because you're right.

That level of talent with Nintendo's guiding hand and budget would be a great match.

Shin'en deserves a boost in the art and creativity departments.

looks fantastic.

I wonder if this will show up at E3? The article on the game seems to line-up, and I wonder if Nintendo won't put them up front as they have with some other strong indie titles in the past.

Wii U? I dont have anything against the console, but I predict it's gonna is not going to make a lot of money.

I'm well aware. Shin'en released Nano Assault Neo on PS4 recently though, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're targeting that platform as well for their future titles.

They sell well on Nintendo as they are a known dev and get Nintendo's promotion on the eShop. I don't think this held true for NAN on PS4, though, because we've not heard a word from them on how that did, when they normally will be very upfront on how they perform on WiiU (well vaguely, anyway, and state "sold well" or not). Unless this is some sort of contractual thing, I doubt we'll see or hear about PS4/X1-anything for this or a lot of their other games any time soon.

I think it's reasonable to speculate, given that they just released a PS4 port of a Wii U game a few months back. But that's all it is... speculation.

This looks hot! I wasn't overly impressed by the first screenshots (which seem like ages ago now) but these look great. I need it, day 1.

It would be reasonable to speculate if the port showed any ROI. Unfortunately, we haven't heard a word from them on that front. You have to remember that (a.) Shinen is a small group, and (b.) they code for the hardware hard.

Assuming this runs at 60fps, those screens are freaking awesome. Would love for this game to actually have mechanics as tight as those of the FZero games. Not sure that we can hope for the sheer brilliance of FZERO GX, but at least Shin'en really seems to be taking their time to get this one right, so that's a good sign.

Wasn't a PS4 version announced or am I confusing that with something else?

You are confusing this with Nano Assault which initially launched as WiiU exclusive but was later ported to PS4.

Probably means at some point, if this is successful and well received, there is a chance it will end up on PS4 as well.

FUCK YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

It sucks without Studio Liverpool making Wipeout anymore, but god damn this is looking like it could fill that gap for me. As long as it plays good and the physics are great, but they definitely have the look down.

Looks fantastic. I honestly can't, from the top of my head, think of a Wii U game that looks better.

Someone help me out here?

I'll wait for the PS4 version then.

Graphics are looking good (though that's a lot of random blurring), will probably grab this wherever as long as the physics aren't too simple, those are some wideass tracks, better be possible to actually go fast and have some momentum. Always worried about challenge compromises on nintendo.

I like boost management in racing games, seems like this may have it from the hud in the bottom left.

Port begging in this thread, ugh.

Anyway the game looks great, just need some videos.

Hopefully it is playable at E3.
