They are terrible. They recycle names and concepts from past MGS, they have no personality beyond the "emotion" behind their name, their backstory is told by a third party instead of themselves (and that's after you defeat them), and the whole sexy posing for the camera thing is absolutely disgusting.

It's ok if you don't like that, but that's the whole point. They are tributes to the previous bosses in the series. They are pretty cool bosses, with amazing designs, amazing music themes.

Jill is a really terrible example. Ada who isn't really one is better than Jill. Best female villain by far (not that the bar is high) in that series is Alexia. She was chilling and amazing, especially for laying the hurt on wesker.


Annette birking was an ok one. But nobody was as good as Alexia.

I wish they made Sherry a villain or introduced Alex wesker.

Nah, The Overseer from Revelations 2 is the best female villain in the series (maybe best overall IMO?).

Yes, Sniper Wolf is one of the coolest characters ever. Great accent too.

Also from Demons Souls. The Maiden Astraea. Love her back story. Love the confrontation. When the music hit I was like "wow this game just went from great to amazing".

Not going to repeat the choices, some of them great, already mentioned in this thread but rather mention one that hasn't been brought up yet:

Eliza from Skullgirls

The woman basically runs a train through the entire cast in her story mode. This is not a woman to be trifled with!

Honestly this is the reason I heavily dislike Eliza. I feel like made her way too much of a Mary Sue in her story mode. Skullgirls wise I feel Double is the vastly superior villain.

That's her personal story though, of course she's going to beat every character you fight - it's the same with all the other characters' stories. If a Skullgirls 2 comes out with a canon story she obviously won't be able to kill off as much of the cast.
