Ugh.
Now introducing a new course to the curriculum: Cause and effect, how can you prevent escalation?Poor officer, forced to stare down those scary journalists with their cameras of mass destruction.
AnimeGoddessAP2 feels the same way.Ahhh, gotta love my local news Facebook and by love, be constantly reminded that Michigan is full stupid fucks.
I'm reading on a couple of far right websites that Dorian Johnson has changed his story and is now saying that Brown did attack Wilson.
But I have yet to see any such report from reputable media sources. Probably bullshit?

lolThe hands up story may be true; then again, it may be false. But it is true in the minds of millions of black people around the United States, thanks to a media eager for a race controversy and it will remain the dominant story, no matter what the truth is.
The god that I pray to is the one that took Andrew Breitbart off this earth. Fuck that guy and the people who now run his site.
I mean, holy fucking shit. Never before in my lifetime have I seen so many people double down on stupid over and over and over again. There are two options here. (1) The officer was scared and was completely unable to reign in his fear and emotion, or (2) he's a complete psychopath who is just itching for a reason to put someone, apparently anyone, down. Either way, the bigger problem--yes, bigger than him pointing a gun at some journalist--is that his superior officer, who instructed him to point his gun down, let him keep his gun. Last night he threatened journalists who more or less were being complaint with police instructions. Tonight, what if he's hit with a water bottle or a rock from the crowd? Is he going to be able to restrain himself from pulling that trigger?
They have been pointing guns at everyone ever since this started so yeah.Is this indicative of the type of person they have in law enforcement in the Ferguson area? It's hard to argue otherwise based upon this incident (thankfully caught on tape) and the other incidents that have been reported.
No real person gets offended by cracker....it doesn't even mean anything.
The nword has deep historical meaning and context. Comparing the two is asinine
Incorrect. Cracker is actually referring to the slave overseers, the whip "crackers".

I'm going to go with 1. Fear makes people do incredibly stupid and irrational things...you can see it on his face, he's fucking spooked. He has no business being out there.
Fucking disgusting behavior. You do not point your weapon at anything that is not an identified target that you are ready to fire upon. Such negligent handling of a semi-automatic rifle seems indicative of the lack of training officers have with this gear.
He's armed and shouting at a news crew. The man isn't spooked, he's a coward, plain and simple. The problem is that a lot of this in ingrained in their training. These cops are told bullshit like "every day you go out there you're going to war" and "any day could be your last in when you're in uniform". Spoiler: you're not "going to war". Those are US citizens with rights. Also a higher percentage of people die from automobile accidents than police killed on duty.
It's just an extension of America's fear driven culture.

All of these photos of the increased violence over the past few days really breaks my heart. The officers with guns and tear gas and everything else.....
This is escalating so quickly. It pains me to see so many people being treated like cattle like this.
I don't know if this is legit or not but I read somewhere that there are gang members grouping together to prevent looting in shops like this:

If true, that really says something, imo. But again, I don't know if its real but I really hope it is.
(I've been gone for the past few days due to working so I'm still catching up on info, pardon if I'm off or missing things for a bit ;____; )

Every day there's at least 1 clip of an officer doing this...threatening to kill or use their weapons(guns) to do bodily harm. It's probably happening from more than just 1 every day. Shit is atrocious. There needs to be some montage of all the police threats to go viral.
#OfficerGoFuckYourself makes me sick.
I haven't had time to follow any of this. Is there a wiki or summary page that talks about how all this started and got to where it is now?
He probably left them IN his car, next to his supply of water and extra iphone cables. So Tim capped off his night by losing his car keys and having to call AAA. I think that's a fitting conclusion.

Don't worry he will be prosecuted and punished for making threats like that. O wait you said it was a police officer?
McCulloch: Grand jury to consider Ferguson case through mid-October
I really do wonder what goes through the mind of the cops when they see something like that, from kids, directed at them.
