Intentionally or not, this is a pretty neat tribute/gesture for Malaysia after suffering through the aviation and natural disasters this year.
I'd say this pretty much opens up a world of regional dishes through XV's cities! It would be cool if they had local food suppliers changing depending on the city you visit. Maybe these Malaysian dishes can only be found in Restallum, while other cities will have their own specialties, I'd love that to happen 
And Ignis could get recipes from them and that would increase the amount of dishes he can cook when camping

They cost like RM1 now in this day and age(in my area at least) but five dollars for not even a roti telur? Yeesh.
To be fair, this $5 is roti canai with curry (not exactly dahl) that has chicken and potato in it.
As a kid I'd always go for roti canai with no dahl, which many mamaks were willing to sell for RM0.20. Given the choice, I'd go for no curry here, but eh, that's not on the menu.

Could be Stella. Luna seems to have light blonde(just a few shades darker than Platinum Blonde) hair. From the original images of Stella(the ones people love), side from the blue tint, this character seems to have a similar tone to it(dirty blonde).also:
Hell, the shades of both seem, with a similar blue tint, seem to be nearly spot on.

Raven translated it as the weapon menu can only be opened when camping at night. Is this correct? Or is it just referring the menu screen as camp menu, but it can be opened any time outside of battles?

We've never seen Luna in blue-tint, so it's hard to make an actual comparison.

Tried doing a bit of color matching with the blueish tint, bit off still.
They've talked about how you can easily go into the menu and change weapons as well as tune the Gambits of the AI characters, so I'm assuming that's just a bad translation.
There might be some camp specific character development & cooking menu that you can't access anywhere else since cooking & leveling up is tied to camping. But otherwise it wouldn't make much sense if you couldn't change equipment etc. in the menu at any given time.
The/A daugther of a wealthy Tenebrae family. Has/had some similar powers/abilities Noctis has. Supposedly there is/was a bit of Romeo & Juliet in her & Noctis' relationship, though romance presumably isn't at the center of FFXV's story.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. They might just be referring to the normal menu and calling it camping menu. Note that one can decide to camp any time, so it makes sense to have it accessible in the normal menu screen.
I initially thought something like Kingdom Hearts, where you cannot go into the menu when you are actually in the battle, but once you are out of the battle you can open up the menu. But the term "Camp Menu" bothers me.

They are saving Stella for a future reveal. Obviously they know fans are interested in her. They can't spill everything right now, especially when the game is a year or more away.

"Camp menu" is a generic term referring to the in-game pause menu in RPGs. It's not a unique FFXV term. Pretty common usage.

Also, Stella is in people. Noctis becoming the only playable character was a much bigger issue than Stella and Tabata cleared that up super fast, so Stella is still in.

So it's cool that Hazmer said he reads NeoGaf, but what's not so cool is how he called our Cidney "Cindy", so I guess it wasn't a localization error after all. If you're reading this Wan, I think most of the internet would prefer if she was actually named Cidney like in Japanese!

That's such a shitty justification for an all male party. For some reason I thought there was more to it than that, but nope. It's literally just, "Well, girls have cooties."
It's not justification, it's just how the story was written.

Nomura just wrote it that way. He doesn't have to justify it. It's normal for a 20-year-old man to have a few close male friends that they can depend on and do stuff with.

No not really. All male party is NBD, perfect scenario.
It's not stupid. He wrote a story with 4 friends going on a journey. Those 4 friends just so happen to be men. The only stupid thing is your silly attitude about the whole thing. The game isn't allergic to women. They have the first ever female Cid and possibly at least 2-3 other more or less important female characters (depending on if Stella is still in the game and/or the same character as Luna), quite likely even more who we just haven't seen yet.
It was just an observation. I don't intend to start another debate on the subject for the reason posted above.
Honestly, pay me no mind. Save your breath for someone else. I'm not damning the story outright (I actually think it'll be passable, at worst), but I'm firm in my stated opinion.
Do you mind on elaborating on that? Can you please post a quote of the interview where Nomura, or anyone really, hinted as such a thing?

I wouldn't mind a system that mixes FFX-2's dress sphere like system with XIII like Paradigm shifts into the action RPG-y combat of FFXV. Would be cool if you could have a few sets of roles for the gang that you could switch between effortlessly with a press of a button. Noctis could have a few completely different skill sets (a bit like Lightning Returns) and the rest could have all kinds of defensive/offensive/mix of both support roles that suit the needs of any given situation in a battle. The Gambit like system will probably work well, but that would give a bit more control over the AI companions at all times.

Does it really matter all that much? She obviously IS filling Cid's role in the game, so you technically do have a Cid in the game, no matter what the localization calls her. Besides, you can still have Cid(ney) in the game if they manage to cram the Japanese voice acting into the game.
