For me it is Dick Grayson (Robin/Nightwing) and Barbara Gordon (Batgirl). Why can't they just be happy?

Anyways share your pairings.

Mary Jane Watson and Peter Parker. I heard somewhere that this guy called Stan Lee has his own fan-fiction comic strip where they're married. I need to check it out.

when watching Gargoyle's with my friend's dad

We were talking about how awesome the show was and he said "Yeah, the only thing [I wish happened] was that he'd fuck her" referring to the main Gargoyle fucking the human chick. So I guess that counts

Wow that page is messed up :(

anyways, Superboy-Prime and Laurie Lemmon

Remove him from the Source Wall, send him home, and leave him alone DC. >:p

Peter Parker & Gwen Stacy

Giles & Ms. Calendar

I don't keep up with comics. Doesn't this make Dick Grayson a fucking asshole?

I was always a fan of Dick Grayson but I think he got a bit too arrogant. He wanted to be his own independent man and promoted himself from Robin to Nightwing. He just left Batgirl and started playing the field and now he wants to play with her emotions. I think he needs to go back to his roots and get together with her for reals, and have four or five bat children.

EDIT: After finishing it on Netflix, I retract this one. Winne was a horrid person and Kevin's better off without her.

Is that graphic in the OP from the new DC? Only because I don't remember it happening. Babs and Dick have had years of history, and lots of complicated feelings, etc. I just don't remember this particularly dickish episode. Of course they're the star crossed pair, but writers won't want to link them together because they believe all that unspoken tension sells books (instead of annoying fans). They also don't know what to do with happy conclusions like marriages and successful relationships.

Surprised that none one of the big ones have been mentioned, the ones that people incessantly argue about even in this forum. You guys know the characters I am talking about.

Beckett and Castle

Yeah I know the teasing is a major part of the series but get on with it already....

Gilligan and Mary Ann.
Quinn Mallory and Wade Wells.
Archie Andrews and Cherry Poptart.
Encyclopedia Brown and Nancy Drew.
Charlie Brown and Lucy Van Pelt.

God, the OP reminds me why I hate comic books. Character continuity gets to fucked up due to being dragged out that the off again/on again relationship drama is worse than an American soap opera.

Instead of saying "I can't be with you because I am a superhero", they should say "I can't be with you because the readers get bored if we get too happy, so I'll go fuck a few other chicks for the next five years, then at issue 300 we'll get back together for another few issues until the readers are bored of us already".
