FINAL FANTASY XV Amazon Road Trip Trailer

Got my gold chocobo skin last night emailed to me. Just jumped on the site to hit the redeem button and get my codes. Got a email instantly and all codes worked. Nice!

Some people are getting dozens of emails it seems, which reminds me of the Amazon/Aksys debacle where at one point a guy received dozens of preorder bonus watches whereas other people got nothing. at this rate i can imagine that amazon will list the ffxv dlc for $600 a pop and give vouchers to the people who preordered. probably not. i hope

EDIT: Funny story, the email I had registered on the roadtrip site wasn't correct. I changed it to the right one and resubmitted. Got the codes redeemed just fine.
 
Oh wow, I just got it to work. If the website isn't sending you codes, go into your profile and select your 'preferred console'. Then click 'Redeem DLC' again, I got my email immediately.

I did the same thing before mine worked. I guess that makes sense, seeing as codes would presumably only work for one system or the other. Square definitely could've been clearer about this though.
 
all 3 of my codes worked, but I was one of the earliest in the thread to receive them... something seems to have went wrong as more codes were sent out
 
i just recently went to the site to get my codes. could only select redeem once, said codes have been sent to my e-mail. have not received an email yet, checked my spam folder and nothing there yet.

bout 4 hours before i head home, and probably another 3-4 before i'm ready to play. so there's time. just going to wait.

Currently my situation as well. I won't get annoyed if I don't get them but see how others have received theirs pretty quickly definitely doesn't help haha
 
I woke up at 4am, noticed I got my email for Gold Chocoba Regalia code from Square-Enix. Redeemed it just fine, went to Roadtrip website and pressed Send My Code. Took about an hour, but redeemed all 3 codes included in that email without any issue.

Sorry everyone else is having troubles. Sounds needlessly frustrating.
 
Man Amazon has been terrible lately. I got the DLC but my game got lost by the Post Office when it was delivered to them. I really hate their decision to go through USPS in my area we have had so many problem since they changed over.
 
I can't even complete the first quest on my phone. I try to hold the dots and there is no response what-so-ever. I have to hope I can do it on my laptop at home, what an embarrassing shit show.
 
I may have a fix for this. Depends on a few things though.

First off, I received two codes from Amazon previously to create a Road Trip account (note how others mentioned they goofed and had problems with codes the first time). This let me create a second login/account on the roadtrip.finalfatnasyxv.com website - as both of my codes were active.

I don't think it matters but the first time I made an account, it wasn't the same email as the Amazon Prime account I received the code on, because for whatever reason these two sites are completely independent as far as logins go. This time around I made sure it was the same, using the newer code I received back in the beginning of November when I received my fixed code (even though the other worked just fine).

I had to play the games again, but this time they seemed to actually work in Chrome on Windows 10. Previously I had to use my Android phone in Chrome with auto-rotate on to do it.

I received another three codes, but I've failed entry on codes so many times it locked me out because I kept trying my old codes. I know that 1 of these new 3 codes worked though before I got locked out for code entry.

I'd also like to note that I'm pretty sure Amazon Support Chat can give you a new code to make a new account to generate these three keys, they gave me a random string of numbers in chat but I thought to myself that this isnt an Xbox/PSN redeemable code because there was no characters and it was all numbers. Looking back, it was likely a code to generate a new login/account for this site - which would in turn let me generate 3 new keys. Whoops.

Anyways I hope this helps, it may not work for everyone - but it seems like it at the very least has allowed me to claim now 2 of the 3. I just need to wait for the cooldown on my PSN account so I can try the third.

Thanks for the tip. I also received two codes to make a road trip account so I made a second account and redid all of the mini games. Hit redeemed DLC and worked like a charm. All of the codes worked too! Still don't know what happened to that first email though.

Not a problem and to follow up on this, I now have all three redeemed.

How are you guys able to click on 'Redeem DLC' again? I was only able to click on that tab once, now it tells me: "your codes have been sent to your email." No option to resubmit via the redeem dlc tab. That was 10 hours ago and I've received nothing as of yet.
 
Has anyone gotten the Regalia skin yet? Is that a totally separate thing?

I got the minigames done using my computer so I got those three codes. The store errored out when I tried to redeem my Blazefire sword so we'll see what happens with that.

My issue was I wasn't even getting that far. I would click the button then nothing happened. So your issue sounds different. Double check your email address and spam box, outside of that I don't know.
 
Was able to get 1 out of 3 to work (the Gae Bolg & Travel Pack), the other two show they've already been redeemed.

Seems this is a widespread problem. Hopefully SE/Amazon have an answer in the next 24 hours or so.

Downloading the 1.02 patch right now and then going to try one more time before saying F-it and just play the game.

Checked all three email accounts, spam folder and all. Nothing. I did receive the gold chocobo car skin first thing this morning, though. Hopefully they'll get these codes all sorted for those who are having trouble with them. Contacted Amazon support about it and they said they'll get back to me by tomorrow with a resolution.
 
Ugh. I tried making a new account with the second code they emailed me back then, but the mini games don't work in any browser on all devices. My laptop or my phone. I did it before on my work PC. The tab switching trick doesn't seem to work anymore either.

Edit: wtf. It also says I already have a code linked to the new account I just made. Lies.
 
No Amazon code e-mailed yet, and I pre-ordered back in August 2013, haha.

If anyone gets any extra codes, I'd greatly appreciate one!
 
Anyone having an extra code ? It's extremely disappointing that amazon.ca are not eligible to this. I've made all the mini-games, so all I need is a code, so if anyone is interested, please pm me with it, it would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks
 
Pre-ordered yesterday and got the Chocobo code, but it says invalid code when I go to the Road Trip website. I'm assuming that's the same thing a lot of us are experiencing? I contacted support already and haven't heard back past "have you tried this code" for the code I already had.
 
I have tried switching my email and platform and neither gives me an option to resend, none of the codes I originally received work :/

That's the code you use on PS Store or XB1's equivalent.

I got 5 unchecked Gaebolg codes and 7 unchecked Mage Masher codes that may or may not work if someone wants to trade Blazefire codes for them.
 
My package didn't arrive yet since I had in pre-order since March.

Also Amazon never sent my any of my codes for this Road Trip promotion either.

Could just send codes as normal to pre-orders instead of having to deal with this Road Trip nonsense. What a clusterfuck.
 
So I pre-ordered last week and just now received my codes for this Road Trip thing. Sign up and input my code into the site and start the first "quest" and it won't even register my taps on the screen. Just give me my damn DLC codes instead of making me jump through hoops!

I had the same issue. I was able to do the mini games using Chrome on my laptop. Hope that works for you too. Did you get a separate code for your Chocobo skin? I'm still waiting on that...
 
Contacted Amazon, sent me a single DLC code for the Gold Chocobo Car skin, however the bonus codes are still unaccounte for this mini-game nonsense.
 
chatting with an amazon rep atm. seems to have no clue about the additional codes besides the gold chocobo regalia skin that was already sent to me
