For some reason, to me, next-gen doesn't really start until this game comes out. This is the first next-gen-only game that feels like a must-buy for me. The release date for Witcher 3 is also probably the ultimate deadline for me getting a new PC.

This is my exact situation, too. It's time for a new PC and I'm building specifically with the goal of running The Witcher 3 well, in my mind. Going to have to wait for benchmarks and stuff I suppose, but until The Witcher 3 comes out, there's nothing too demanding I'm dying to play.

They must still have thousands thousands, I went last day Gamescom, they still have a pile of t-shirts boxes. Even they threw to the air, people to catch it.

They will need to get rid. Maybe they will do the giveaway again or sell them, but 3rd world could need some.

I was initially under the belief that this would launch in the early part of 2014, but the more I realize we've yet to see much of any gameplay (aside from this), and the footage we have seem seems to be the same few clips over and over again, the more I realize they're either farther off than I thought, or they REALLY don't want people to see this game until its perfect.

He probably talks about the graphics downgrade. There was some sweet looking smoke in the early builds.

I would have never even been that pissed if they just were upfront about the downgrade.

To wait until the game released to tell people is one of the scummiest things I've seen a company do. Let me remind folks, when Watchdogs 1 and The Division was downgraded, not only was Ubisoft upfront about it, you got a beta of The Division to see for yourself before purchase and they had tons of hands on previews for Watchdogs.

Maybe, just maybe, we can praise them for trying to do great things with Witcher 3, but we must be objective and honest with how that game launched and the company lying about this. Maybe CP2077 would have actually really been delayed and launched fully featured if the same bad press Unity got, Witcher 3 got.

Truth. I love how that build looks like, but who knows how much of that was even real.

I feel what I wanted Witcher 3 to look like, ended more so being with Valhalla, like miles ahead. So I got my medieval type feels from the England esk setting from that game.

Lets hope the team can pull it off with Witcher 1 remake or something.
