Pullups, not pushups. Pullups are a lot harder. I'm pretty damn strong and I can only do 10, though I do weigh 230lbsProbably should have taken training more seriously. 3 pushups? C'mon man.

Ok so my buddy has to pass his fireman entrance fitness test in 12 days...
But there's one big problem, he can't do the required pull ups.
He has to be able to do 10. He can only do 3.
How can I help him to triple his strength in 12 days? Is he fucked?
I was thinking about making him do 5x5 reps on back shoulder and bicep exercises...
I have no idea how to tackle this problem, any advice?
Or just make him do weighted pull ups?

edit: if he does creatin every morning it might actually give him some benefit. creatine is documented for strength in short intervals, not endurance. 2 weeks is enough to see an effect.
