For those rage cancelling their Ps5 pre-orders...

Don't think anyone with confirmed pre-order would cancel it...they can always turn into a scalper and rake some cash off the desperate who needs to have one by this holiday.
 
I have not seen one person do what was described in the OP. Wouldn't worry about anything.... PS5 looks to be very capable and has great games lined up.

There will always be attention seekers.

And the ones who actually do cancel probably couldn't afford it when the CC goes from preauthorization to actually charged and are looking for any excuse after they told everybody they have a preorder and then don't actually have the system when it comes out.

A few posters have been angrily saying that they're definitely going to cancel the preorder for the Ps5 that they've definitely got, because Spider-Man looks different, or we haven't seen the UI, or it's ugly... or some other bullshit, and I thought I'd give them a place to post, so others can take their preorder.

None of them have done it though, so safe to assume they don't actually have preorders, and are just whining like man babies looking for attention 👍

This is some very ignorant anticipation if you ask me. This is one of the main reasons to why I don't work in retail. This is one of those reasons to why working at a game store sucks. Why even go through the hassle of preordering? When you get excited about a console and you see somebody sell or cancel it. It makes you wonder "why?". It's just stupid.

I spoke to a local game store the other day who only sell used consoles/games. He said he would anticipate a new next gen console within the week of launch. Some people buy one and next week their rent is due. There's some real life emergency that requires money that you don't have. That's understandable. There are some real dicks out there who just want to make a statement about it. This is also why I don't always want to discuss next gen video game consoles with anyone. There's always that random obnoxious comment that serves no purpose except to belittle or insult a fan base.
 
As if there are any real people canceling and not just Internet trolls putting on an act...
 
Obviously some people have actually cancelled their pre-orders, theres so many posting here how they are now considering flipping it as they were very disappointed with what was shown.

Others probably are just trolling and with the reactions they are getting i can understand why lol.
 
Speaking of pre-orders. Anyone have suggestions on the best people to follow to get in the loop so I might have a prayers chance of getting one?

It is perfectly acceptable. I don't think that's rage canceling though. I think that's a proper decision.
 
This is a thing that is happening? Why? Wouldn't it make more sense to flip it if it's not for them? I got both, this console war is the most ludicrous I've ever witnessed

You mean like EVERY launch. Its always funny when people complain about the launch games. Launch games always suck. They are not going to wast the big games on a time when so few will have a console

Just look at some of the people saying it.

Some of the biggest playstation haters, they never even preordered in the first place because there post history shows how much they dislike Playstation...

That might have some weight if, you know, they didn't also show off Devil May Cry and Godfall too. But then again I suppose it's not near as innovative as GTA 4 running at an unstable 60fps

They had the nerve to demo a game people didn't like and not give the console to people so they can poke around in its guts, I guess.

Just the usual suspects being themselves is all.

It's a form of reverse psychology marketing.
I don't think it applies here, because Sony has won the gen in a landslide regardless, but you never know with some devoted users these days.
