Ok listened to it... they complained about....
*The packaging (OMG ITS SO CONFUSING)
*The Booklet ( OMG THEY MADE A TYPO)
*The Remastering Documentry ( OMG OLD WHITE GUY ACTING YOUNG)
*Widescreen ( pretty much the only valid complaint)
*Funmation Exagerrated the screen noise ( who cares its Dbz all in one set for 29 bux)
*They changed the color ( who notices these things OMG THEY PUSHED THE BLUE LEVELS AND THE NIGHT HAS SHADES OF GREEN WTF )
*The 2 million dollar equipment and how thats cheap as far as equipment goes ( WHO ****IN CARES)
*The guy who did the color restoration and his job difficulty ( OMG HE JUST PUSHES A BUTTON)
*Proggressive Scan Included ( they say its not that big a deal that they included it, but Ill bet if Funi had left it out they would have spent 30 minutes bitching about it)
* Its missing GRAIN???? ( " The grain is part of its charm" WHAT THE ****!)
These guys are acting as if they are charging extra for the remastering I mean its a budget release......ITS CHEAP...
*The english dub - ( I agree here but who the hell watches it with the dub)
Like I
get that some people care about this shit... but its cheap, its readily available at any dvd place and these guys are nitpicking it to Gaming Forum levels of insanity. Ultimately I just don't care.
And yeah after listening to that podcast the fact that they are internet geeks is very relavent as no one but internet geeks will notice or care about everything minus the widescreen thing (which for me wasn't that big of a deal but I could see where it's a deal breaker for people) all that other stuff reminds me of these guys complaining to the animators about inconsistancies in their stories.......
