Astounded that anything other than Gamergate won honestly. Hugely embarassing and shed even more light on the darker side of gaming culture when it comes to women.
I'm in the same boat. Enjoyed it well enough for a mere $10. If I had bought it for the full $60 when it came out though, I would have been tempted to vote for it.
the votes are not weighted in any way

It already won last year tho, should have been disqualified imoAstounded that anything other than Gamergate won honestly. Hugely embarassing and shed even more light on the darker side of gaming culture when it comes to women.
Alot of us don't care nor still don't know what fuck it is. The failure of Gamergate is the shitty message its trying to get across. People can explain it to me and i still won't give a shit.
Hmm, that doesn't seem like an ideal format for this imo. I think it'd be better if it was weighted similar to GOTY voting. To avoid Tony Hawks 5 like situations, something which got tonnes of mentions but isn't even on the list because no one actually put it at the top of theirs.
What? You don't know what it is...but then you say you won't give a shit if someone can explain it to you? You come across as super upset about something you don't understand for some reason.
The beauty of this is that while one can admit this is true, they can still go with Konami because they really don't have anything else on the pipeline so their entire collapse as a relevant core game developer (not even just AAA stuff) is worthy of a vote.Konami were dicks but really we don't know the whole story and emotion is getting the better of gaf. They still payed to get MGSV made and could have very easily cancelled the game.
The issue with Steam wasn't with it being down for most of a day, it was the exposure of people's personal information.I really don't think a single day without steam would make into top3 considering who are the top3 here.
This year it became much less visible than last year ... at least now there is no doubt that nothing good can come from that, so no more "normal" game sites liking it and stuffs like that. Still .. top3 =P

It also happened so late that I don't think it got a single vote. Probably best to lump it with next year, we'll see the potential fallout then. The issue with Steam wasn't with it being down for most of a day, it was the exposure of people's personal information.

Yeah, definitely. That and super late reaction to the situation (considering).
