The only way it'd be interesting is if it wasn't a catfish. To do that, you gotta be tricky. Once had a girl I had every reason to believe was a catfish. To prove she wasn't, she showed me texts between her and a guy she had met up with before. Here's where it got tricky. I texted her friend from a number different from my own and pretended to be her. If you wanna know its real, you're gonna have to do things you shouldn't necessarily do. If you're not comfortable with that, I strongly suggest dropping it.

I didn't really mention this in the OP but actually it doesn't really matter. They're from Japan and the app is Line. I have my second language set as Japanese on OkCupid and have had a few visits and messages from women in Japan before so I didn't think it was that unusual. I think they've searched for people anywhere by language maybe? Mostly they're pretty cool but exchanging messages is more or less pointless outside of getting the chance to use our second languages, so thats about it.
