Steam gifts is giving me some horseshit about my account not being public when it is, and it's been the same for months beforehand with absolutely no previous issues like this. :/ Refuses to sync my account.

THQ Amazon deal gave me a game or two I don't want. Not sure about the rest of them yet, going to read some reviews before I decide which to keep and which I don't want... but already have Warhammer 40k on PSN+ so....

I feel like an absolute idiot, but can anyone explain to me why steamgifts is insisting that my account is private when I'm trying to register? 
Everything is set to public.
edited: Actually, it seems to be going all over the place. Alternating between the "private" error message and the "under $100" message - I have like 400 games on this account

Steamgifts is fucked up since yesterday. Nothing wrong on your end.
It's not a group, it website where you enter a giveaway and hope for invite. If you want I(or anyone else) can send you an invite.

Yeah it happens a lot, sometimes I need to sync my account but it says my profile is private, usually means something's wrong on their end.

Thanks you, I went in on the bundle with another Gaffer thinking I had no interest in Homefront but somehow my interest has picked up. Although I also find the premise a bit silly it might still be a bit of fun.
