he's back son.

20 pages though?

For 20 pages it has to be something we have not seen in a while or is different enough from game to game to warrant 20 pages. My guesses are below.

  • Mirror's Edge 2
  • Assassin's Creed 5
  • Last Guardian
  • Half Life 3 (Doubt it, but I mean if anything could get 20 pages its this)
  • Fallout 4(A huge open world in a new setting. Could easily fill 20 pages)

Would actually be kind of excited if it was a bunch of info on Mirror's Edge 2.

The more I think about it, the more 20 pages being Fallout 4 makes sense.

Talking about the new gameplay systems, new AI, new storyline, new city, new graphics, etc seems like it could fill the 20 pages easy.

if its good, and for its style, it will sell well. Not COD numbers, but for its niche :)

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were great games too and sold like shit. The hard truth is that the majority of gamers don't care for this type of games.
This doesn't mean The Last Guardian is also condemned to sell as bad as Team Ico's previous games (if it ever comes out that is) but to put it in the same list with the other games you mentioned (that have huge budgets of marketing behind them) was a bit funny. :)

Driveclub.

I'm guessing that you're joking, but I wouldn't count on a racing game ever getting the cover of GI again. NFS Carbon in 06 was the last one. It doesn't seem like there are too many racing fans on their staff (I think Matthew Kato reviews nearly every racing game for them).

I want to say Uncharted 4... but it's in it's infancy dev wise and 20 pages wouldn't make sense. My picks are Dragon Age Inquisition or Fallout 4.

Maybe it's Prey 2 (Arkane's Prey 2). 20 pages is too much but it might get filled with pages on history of Prey 1 and all that rebooting, some pages talk about the cancelled version and why Bethesda canned it with screens of the old version and rest of the pages for the new Prey 2.

WWE 2k15 next gen. Exclusive behind the scenes look with Yukes as they change 2 things this year, up the resolution and call it a day, but manage to stretch the Yes Technology over 20 pages. All it really does is make the crowd jump up at the right moments instead of constantly. Universe is fixed this time too we promise!

Didn't Verendus say that they're aiming for a 2014 release with Uncharted? If that's the case, it's very muich a possibility. Still think it's AC though. New Rocksteady game would be swell.

Yes Technology haha

Is there a reason Andrew Reiner says, in response to no-one:

?

Assassin's Creed - too early imho
New Rockstar game - I doubt it, 'cause they always have a trailer/announcement out before any GI coverage IIRC. But maybe we will see such a trailer/announcement right before the reveal
New Call of Duty - too early and why the hell would you do 20 pages about CoD?
Fallout 4 - I don't know if Bethsoft would announce this via GI and without any teasing in advance. But it would make sense.

Maybe it's not about a specific game after all.

Nothing less than a Fallout 4 preview, with a release date of next month will make me excited at this point. I've been burned too many times.

I wonder if it could be Watch_Dogs? It was part of their multi-cover E3 issue, but Destiny was as well and that's since received a full blowout for their January 2014 issue. Watch_Dogs is one of the very few major upcoming releases that they haven't given a blowout cover story to. With UBI's financial call coming up it would make sense. They've got to talk about it soon.

Oh nice. Totally forgot about the DICE Summit.
