Game soundtracks on vinyl | Analogue Gen 33fps

Hmm, details? I have The Fountain and have listened to it a few times.
Audiophile wankery incoming:

I buy around twenty to twenty five albums a year. Mondo's first gold pressing (to me and many others) was just too quiet and ill mixed to recommend, especially at four times what you'd pay for a CD you could have bought since the film's release. People say they fixed the volume for later presses but uh I didn't invest in future Fountain records and had to unload my copy rather than enjoy it for years to come. All that money after years of being out of print and it doesn't sound good? A nice package and OBI strip doth not make double price for me.

Anyways- their quality control is usually superb but I'm not in the mood to gamble with my record moneyz when there's decades of great releases to choose from!

Yeah it's a shame they really messed up with such an awesome soundtrack as their mastering is usually spot on

That link's for Shovel Knight, no? I don't see NG at all yet.

yes, as we were talking how shovel knight was "cheap" but box sets are "expensive" when in fact they are priced exactly the same when you consider doubling the price for a 4LP instead of a 2LP :D

30 minute-ish until NG sets are available...

Can't even get bigwax to load so I can pick up a regular copy.

A lot of stores don't reserve it for you until payment goes through, it's the same way with a lot of releases, like shoes and whatnot. Just having it in your cart doesn't mean you've secured one.

Remember not to buy them from flippers on Ebay and Discogs, atleast regular editions. Brave Wave has said that they will repress their records as long as there is demand.

Yeah, it's a multi-step process, but that's the final one to ensure they don't accidentally oversell. I much prefer the Ticketmaster method where you have a few minutes from "in cart" to "sold" where it's still secured, but I haven't seen any of these sites run that way yet.

Not really Brave Wave's fault. They have no control over how Bandcamp handles orders.

It's their fault for going through Bandcamp on the LE only. Now I can't even get into the regular store to get the regular boxed set.

I scheduled my day around this release and it's frustrating that simple storefronts can't handle an enthusiast's amount of traffic.

Btw. in regards to the pricing. On BigWax the 2LPs both showed up as €38.40 (like Shovel Knight) and the box set was €96. Jarosh - does BigWax add tax on top of the price? Because to me it seems that the €32 and €85 are incorrect.

Same. What sucks is I didn't delay. I was on my computer at 10:30 trying to buy it and by 10:32 it was gone and the other links had crashed.

Yeah I never even got in to get the regular edition. Oh well. I'll wait for a repress.\

E: It actually loaded after I posted this. Gonna pass on the box. The two editions regularly came out to 20 euros less.

Missed out because I thought they wanted me to add shipping to the price, only when I got to the check out did I see they added shipping already. When I went back to the cart to change the price it was gone.

Is this a bandcamp thing? Letting you enter the price for something that already has a set price? That's either an oversight or scummy.

Even though I had success ordering the LE Ninja Gaiden, I despise Bandcamp's storefront for merch of this nature. It's not designed for what people are doing with it. And yeah, it needs checkout reserving when you're a few steps into locking the sale in. My paypal was lagging while processing, and I got super worried.

Really sorry for those that didn't get it due to technical issues. I'd probably be raging.
