Bioshock "Beyond The Sea"

The trailer for Bioshock was pure genius. Someone oblivious to the series would expect a calm, adventurous ocean adventure - next thing you know the protagonist's entire head is being rattled by the Big Daddy.

To this day the howls and moans from the Big Daddy are earth moving.

Yeah, this, the Dead Island trailer and the Uncharted 2 Gamescom trailers are the ones I think of.

Revelations wasn't a great game, but there's definitely something about that trailer.

Bonus points go to the Persona 5 teaser (since it isn't really a trailer), because seeing it at the end of the insanity that was the November 24 stream was very emotional.

Pretty much the best game trailer ever as far as I'm concerned. Got me hyped for the game like no other. The story and the gameplay were all on great display. When I played MGS3 the first time I tried to reenact all the stuff in this trailer.

Damn I wish the game looked and played like that. I wouldn't mind a complete reimagining of FFXIII for the next generation consoles (and by next-gen I mean PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two). And since we only see Lightning here they could even ditch all other characters and make new ones, new universe, make it so FFXIII trilogy was some "legend" that got distorted with the ages and this is the True Lightning Saga. (And keep it in a single game, please)

This trailer pretty much sold me on Prince of Persia. Don't know if the music perfectly captures the game or the music completely colors how I perceive the game, but it's damn effective.

Just came to post that "right in the feels" is an incredibly shitty expression. The Dragon Age Inquisition trailer at the EA conference, accompanied by the live cellist was awesome. Looked great, the music was beautiful... Then that guy comes out and says OUT LOUD "aw man, right in the feels!" and I instantly wanted someone to throw a shoe at him.

It's up there with people who say "el oh el!" Or "lawl!" in regular conversation.
