Games you can still play for 50+ hours?

As I've gotten older I've had less time for gaming and become pickier about which games to play (I'm sure a lot of GAF have experience this) to the point where if a game doesn't interest me in the first few hours I just stop playing. Rarely will I put more than 10-15 hours into a game but amazingly there are still a couple of games out there that I will play for 50 or 100 hours and not get sick of.

Warcraft 3 / Starcraft 2: Just finished the SC2 campaign which was ~15 hours and then there's multiplayer and custom maps on top of that. The custom maps in War3 alone I've probably played for over 100 hours (Dota, tower D) and the campaign is fun enough to go through multiple times.

Persona 3 / 4: I have no idea why but I've played both at least two times through with about 150 hours on each. The story/dialogue is so good and it doesn't bother me to play as a high schooler (unlike most games). The gameplay is simple but strangely addicting and combat is so solid it doesn't get old.

Elder Scrolls (Morrowind or Oblivion), if I take the time to mod it out properly.

Diablo 2

WoW (What? I'm being honest)

Littlebigplanet (Have played this way to much, and still do, but only with my friends when we are drunk)

And Borderlands probably. I think I got around 30 hours in on one character and I have been meaning to play through again, works just got in the way.

Any RPG of any kind or sub-genre. Some FPS but I'm more selective with them, and a couple sports and fighting games.

I replay most of my favorite RPGs fairly often. Dragon Quest 7, which definitely always takes longer than 50 hours, I've played more times than I care to count.

At the age of 23 & 24:

Persona 3 / 4 / Nocturne

Bioshock 1, played it 3 times.

Demon's Souls, went to around 100+ hours.

TF2 is up to ~700 hours.

Rock Band & LBP are both very high up there.

FFXIII hit 65 but I'll never touch that again probably.

Any MMO that catches my attention for longer than an hour.

Legend of Zelda: TP
Resident Evil 4 (if you count multiple play-throughs)
Final Fantasy (nearly all of them)
Warcraft 3
Theme Park and Theme Hospital (so many hours lost)

I'm at 190 hours on Borderlands, haven't used Brick so far. GTA IV was around 86 hours, Just Cause 2 is only 70, haven't hit 100% on either of those yet. Just started getting into Civ IV and bought Oblivion and Fallout 3 GOTY this weekend. Started Dragon Age but haven't got very far. That lot should keep me going for a while.

Honourable mentions for Q3 and Wipeout 2097.

Fallout 3 - probably about 150 hours by now.

But that's about it. I'd much rather have 7-10 hour games nowadays. I guess there's a chance I'll put more than 50 hours into DQ9 but that will be over the course of the next few months, as opposed to the frequent 6 hour Fallout 3 binges I would have.

Monster Hunter tri was the last game to offer enough fun and replay value for me to play it for 100+ hours.
Befor that it was Demon's Souls.
And before that....I don't know. It's rare for me to play a game as much.

I dont know if its cuz I'm gettin older, my cocks gettin bigger, and the bitches are gettin wetter, but, I can't play games more than 50 hours anymore.

Unless they are called Xenogears and TF2.

Pokemon HeartGold: currently approaching 250 hours.
Heroes of Newerth: no idea of time, but probably over 400 games over the past year (average game lasts 30 minutes).
Left 4 Dead 1: put in over 100 hours last year.

Two weeks ago I would have said "nothing".

Now I'll say "Dragon Quest IX, apparently".

^ Same. I expected to put it down but there's little chance of that now...

I played four games 100+ hours this year:
Yakuza 3
Demon's Souls
Fifa 09
Saboteur

Played 2 games 50+ hours:
Chronicle of Riddick Dark Athena+Butcher Bay+Online
Uncharted 2

Many-

Demon's Souls- Since I got the game back in March 09. I've swapped hard drives three times. In the process losing two 120+ lvl characters, the third was near lvl 300. I'm thinking about doing another run, but this time with the US version. I've lost count how many hours I've put into DS. It's far more than the 200+ I put into Oblivion that's for sure.

P3P- 112 hours into my first playthrough (yes I know people can beat it in half that). I'm on floor 215 and plan to finish up pretty soon.

Fallout 3- 3 1/2 playthroughs totally around 228 hours

Valkyria Chronicles- 54 hours on one playthrough

LittleBigplanet- Been playing this game since day one. Always finding something new. Who knows how many hours I've logged.

FF13- near 100 hours to get the platinum.

Any good rpg or sanbox game, basically.

The last games I've played over 50 hours are Persona 4 and Demon's Souls.
The last game I've played over 100 hours is FFXII.

For me it's a good RPG. I have put in nearly 120 hours into Tales of Vesperia. Blue Dragon has also grabbed my attention and gaming time for a big amount of hours. Fun side quests and leveling up characters is what attracts me.

Tedious RPGs however just don't get much more then a "beat the game and move on" from me. A game in that category would be Enchanted Arms. I don't remember how many hours I played but it did not have a large amount of side stuff to interest me. I did spend some time getting a few of the big weapons and leveling enough so I could beat the game but beyond that it went to the done pile.

JRPGs of course and games like Yakuza (basically when you're able to do sidemissions and other stuf) I get bored with most shooters and action games after 10 hours or so.

Shadow Complex or Gears of War 1 had just the right length it's not that much fun doing the same shit for more than 6 hours especially if there isn't any (interesting) story to follow..

Recent games where I played for 50+ :

Persona 4 (100+)
Suikoden 3 (70+, getting all stars took some time)
