Games you can still play for 50+ hours?

Sandbox games, generally, or if there is a New Game+ (Borderlands and Nier).
I popped in Saints Row 2 yesterday and noticed my save file was 101 hours :lol
Also, Devil May Cry 3SE; I have well over 99 hours clocked in.

LittleBigPlanet,
Fallout 3,
Rockband1/2,
Demon's Souls,
Red Dead Redemption.

Vintage:

Probably, Street Fighter II, Super Mario Kart and Super Metroid.

TF2 and Football Manager, I just keep on going back to them. With TF2 I can easily lose a weekend but FM I can lose weeks on end. No wonder I've got a backlog the size of a small continent! :lol

Left 4 Dead 1
Scott Pilgrim
Killing Floor
Call of Duty Modernwarfare 2
Team Fortress 2
Day of Defeat Source
Counter Strike Source
Alien Swarm
Company of Heroes
Max Payne 1 + 2
Every damn Castlevania Metrovania game

Dragon Quest IX is the game that I put in 70+ hours - a rare sight since I can't stick with a single game for so long in a very very long time.

Super Street Fighter 4 (might be the last disc-based game I play all year... and I'll probably be playing it all year)
Soulcalibur IV (damn you, customizing!)
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection (first fighting game I got serious about; T6 is nowhere near as addictive)

Final Fantasy 13 took me a lot longer to beat than the norm, so I guess it counts. When I encountered a boss, you'd better believe I was ready for it :lol

Non multi player games. I have played through FFT about 8 times from start to finish on PSX alone, then the replay on PS3 PSN, and now currently on PSP.

Mein god this game is still amazing and gets better each time I play it.

I feel there are alot of multi games that go without saying, but the single player games are where its at.

Another for me would be Star Fox 64, those are the two that stand out the most.

I'm reading this topic in the middle of playing VC Secret of Mana after god knows how many hours now (going through to level every weapon, spell and character in the game right up with the best armour) so, yeah. I would also say Pokemon, and Dragon Age took me bloody yonks to complete (only got around to starting and finishing it recently).

Honestly, the thing that's affecting my playtime of games at the moment is a startling lack of income (disposable or not) so I have to really make games last a long time at the moment. D:

Dawn of War II, including the beta, is sitting at 142 hours thus far. Though only half way to 50, Starcraft 2 will probably be into triple figures by the end of the year. Similarly, Civilisation V will be heavily played over the next few years.

Outside of strategy games, New Super Mario Bros Wii has over 50 hours played and that is with World 9 still untouched and with plenty of challenges still to do.

Galaxy is also over 50 with about 350 stars on there and I'd expect Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime Trilogy to join the club soon.

Super/Street Fighter 4 - I had 50 hours of Super clocked in after two weeks.
Madden - Basically every Madden ever made,
MVP 2005 - Perhaps the greatest sports game ever made.
Rainbow Six: Vegas - First multiplayer shooter I ever played, lot's of good memories with this one.
Modern Warfare 1 & 2 - Too many hours dumped into these games.
StarCraft 2 - First RTS I've ever played, instantly addicted. Great game.

I've probably also played over 50 hours of every main Mario title ever played, tetris, NBA Jam, the Rock Band and Guitar Hero series, Fallout 3, and a number of old Sega Genesis NHL game. I'll be honest, there are probably a dozen games that I've played over 50 hours of and just can't remember atm.

Any decent PC strategy game.

Stuff from Paradox or Firaxis. X-Com. Jagged Alliance. Master of Orion.

You know, awesome games.

Demons souls
Monster hunter
Pokemon
I would be able to play a good twisted metal forever.
The right fighting game, if it existed. Something like samurai showdown, but with less baggage in the move list, kind of like street fighter 4.

:lol

For me it's more the lack of time than income. I'm not sure if that's good or bad :/

I have ADD when it comes to games. However, there have been a few that have kept me completely obsessed for over 50 hours of total game time.

Goldeneye 007-- multi with friends

Xenogears -- two 80+ hour playthroughs

Star Wars Jedi knight ii Jedi outcast-- Countless hours in multiplayer

Phantay Star Online ep I and ii

Dragon Quest Ix... I see no end in sight, way, way too much shit to do

Grand Theft: San Andreas. It will always have a permanent place on my hard drive. I have been playing this game for like 5 years now. Driving or flying around in it with the radio on is so relaxing.

I've played way more games than I can count for over 50 hours this generation. If we narrow it down to 100+ hours, my list would probably look like:

Ninja Gaiden 2
Devil May Cry 4
Bayonetta
Street Fighter 4 + Super Street Fighter 4
Persona 3 FES
Persona 4
The Last Remnant
Phantasy Star Online + Blue Burst
Pokemon Pearl
Left 4 Dead 1
Shadowrun
Halo 3
Fire Pro Wrestling Returns
Ouendan 1 + 2 + Elite Beat Agents (if you combine them)

I'll probably be able to add BlazBlue to that list within a week or so.

Almost any strategy game, really.

I passed hundred hours in civilization years ago. I passed two hundred hours in football manager this month. I'm sure I've already passed that mark in europa universalis.

Persona and Dragon Quest.

What a coincidence, I happen to be currently playing Persona 3 portable and Dragon Quest 9.
